Great, but not tall enough
I used EarthBox kits for my garden this year and the plants are growing massively. I appreciate the ease of attaching this kit to the box (there is even a short video on their website that shows the process). However, I subtracted 1 star because this staking system isn't really tall enough for my tomato plants. I'll guess the kit is 4 feet tall when attached? My tomato plants grew to 9 feet tall in the earthbox....so I ended up having to supplement this staking system by tying my plants to the top of a nearby fence. Next year I'm going to search hardware stores to see if I can find extra poles to give more height. Using this for bush green-beans worked fairly well though, so consider your plant choice carefully.

Quality item to use with your Earthbox
I needed something to stake my sugar snap peas. Tempted to make something homemade for my Earthbox but I am glad I bought the Staking system that is really designed for the Earthbox. The big item I like... is the outriggers change the box to have 6 casters and the casters are on the outside of the box instead of underneath. Which made the box roll easier on the deck and more stable from tipping. I came back and bought the staking system for all my boxes. I really like how well they move around. The poles for the staking system seem light weight but when you put it all together, it is very sturdy. Peas really like climbing the trellis and it became easy picking the vegetables.I also will setup 1/2 section of the poles and drape clear plastic over to warm up the planters to sprout the seeds faster in spring time. It also works the first 2 months for young tomato plants and then complete the poles when the plants get older.Recommend to buy with your Earthbox to complete your growing experience.

Nice System. Easy to Put Together
Got this today. It was very easy to put together, much easier than some of the reviewers have said. The staking part I would say took about 10-15 minutes. The netting took a bit longer, only because it took a bit to straighten it out and figure out what end to tie where. Once I did it was very easy.I am giving it four only for the fact I think it could be slightly cheaper in price, say 20-25 dollars tops.I will say the good thing about this staking system is that it can be used year after year, so as far as that goes, that's kind of nice that it's cost effective.I did get the best price I saw for it on Amazon plus free shipping.Over all I am happy with it, and look forward to planting my veggies!

Easy enough to use, not sure the netting is strong enough
I was concerned about this system when I realized the supports went under the EB and I'd have to remove the casters I was relying on to move the EB around as needed. Fortunately the EB designers were way ahead of me; the casters have holes in the bottom of the supports to fit into, and even space for a third caster at each end (and the kit includes the two extra casters needed). So I was able to still push the EB around after installing the staking kit. Installing it was pretty straightforward with the exception of the netting, which was tricky to untangle and then I had trouble finding the corners until I realized the corners had *2* ties attached and the other netting ends only had one. The staking kit has been out in the Wyoming wind for over a month now without damage.

Love my earthbox staking system
This is my first year for growing green beans in my earth box with the staking system. Last year I used makeshift staking similar to the teepee style I used when I planted in soil many years ago. As I look back to the teepee method, it doesn't make sense to have the plants grow into a tiny space when they are at their peak growth period. There was no room to spread. Not so this year!! I love the fact that it was so easy to install and so easy to train my beans to climb. They are not getting crowded because they are growing straight up and they are reaching for the stars!! I hope to get another earth box next year and I will definitely purchase a staking system for it also. Love, love, love my earth box.

Heckuva deal!
This is a fantastic price for the EarthBox staking system -- less than on the EarthBox web site. I was originally just going to buy a couple of staking extension kits directly from EarthBox at about $20 bucks a piece. When I add the shipping fee of about $13, though, I'd have wound up spending about $53 just for stake extensions. Compare that to about $61 (through amazon prime) for full staking systems from amazon and, well... it's clear where the best deal is. The stakes in the full system can easily be adapted to serve as extensions on what I've got and I'll have the outriggers to put stakes on my other 2 EarthBoxes, should I need them. Thanks for the great price, amazon!

updated staking kit
This is the updated staking kit with only five polls. not like the original ones with six. you no longer have a lower cross bar.

Gotta have it.
I have tried using the earth box without the staking kit ( have used earth boxes for 10+ years) and its impossible if you want to grow tomatoes. The earth box is an excellent growing system. If I was king the parts for the earth box would not be so expensive.
