Dewalt DCS692B 60V MAX Brushless Lithium-Ion 9 in. Cordless Cut Off Saw (Tool Only)

The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my use as a first responder. The day after I got it our town was flooded, worst flood in hundreds of years. Since that day I have used this cutoff saw to cut galvanized cables off the interstate, cut and remove large and small plastic pipes, cut and remove wood, class I metal doors, cut asphalt, concrete, rebar, and twisted 1.5" aluminum cable. The 60v battery powers through everything. I paired it with a rescue blade also sold by Amazon. It came with a masonry blade, and a abrasive blade, 2 60v flexvolt batteries, and charger. It's starts up quick and upon release of the trigger stops the blade from rotating in hundreths of seconds. The grip is positive and comfortable and it is hefty for a battery powered saw. Made very well!

Saw feels like a quality machine. Very solid and powerful. It cut through a 4 inch slab like butter. I cut 2 squares out of a slab for gate posts, and had full bars on a 9ah flex volt. Glad I got it, being cordless is awesome, you forget the price after your first job with it!

So far , so good. I have used it mostly for cutting fairly thick steel down to more manageablePieces for blacksmithing purposes.5 stars for dependability , 5 stars for ease of use and light weight,Blade diameter could be slightly bigger and battery life, while not bad, it could be a little better.I also cut pink granite rocks very well with diamond blade and water feed.All in all a very good and useful, tool would definitely buy again.

Not enough power and it’s super weak

This is a great addition to our company's Dewalt arsenal. Has great power. It's big enough to cut asphalt and small enough to get into spaces that the gas-powered cut saws are awkward to use in.

You can’t cut as deep as you can with a glass saw but this thing is great for what it is. Doesn’t hesitate to cut whatever I need it too. Battery life is actually pretty good but I would recommend having extra batteries if your using it for more then a few cuts. I would definitely recommend this if are looking for a saw.

Have had several of these saws, well powered and very handy, you’ll want more than two batteries for it. We went from carrying all gas powered saws on work trucks to carrying these saws and only having a gas powered when necessary for concrete and masonry work.

I read the reviews and understood that the unit would run through batteries and it did but no problem, I was prepared, lots of batteries (2x6amp + 2x9amp). Used 1x battery, put it to charge, propped fresh charged one in, and kept going. Battery issue did not slow me down as I was cutting several stones then placing them , then back to cutting and so on. Called it a day and had 3x batteries fully charged and one with still juice in it. Used to cut flagstone/limestone for garden wall/garden bed areas. Used with Dewalt blade that it came with unit, cut through materials with ease. I just let the saw and blade do the work. Water hose attachment work perfectly. Easy to handle, good holding position for hands, conformable to use. Glad I bought it and would do it again. I gave it one less star because it is a battery hog.
