This is an attractive, sturdy, well designed, easy to assemble cat house with a substantial heating pad, a durable "no chew" cord, and 2 exits to prevent the cat from being trapped by a predator. I couldn't wait for it to arrive for the sweet outdoor cat that adopted us. Unfortunately, when it was delivered, the side of the box had a hole cut out of it, and the plug was missing (it had the cord, just no plug). The package was delivered in the original box--if it was double boxed in an Amazon box or bag, it's likely that the plug would have survived the shipping process. I contacted the manufacturer, and even though the missing plug isn't their fault, they are replacing it. I just had to complete a simple form, and was contacted quickly by customer service with a tracking number for the part. If I could give the manufacturer 6 stars, I would! I would give the Amazon seller 1 star for poor packaging.

Bought this for a stray cat that "came with" my house, he was used to being let in on cold nights but that wasn't an option for me with 2 indoor male cats. He has used it on cold days and nights for the last two winters. I ran an extension cord into the "attic" of the house and added a heated water bowl too. Great solution, especially with a smart plug and some automation to turn on and off based on the weather.

I really like it, but my cat barely fits in it, and the sides keep folding back in, which made me worry about the insulation being good enough for winter. I ended up buying a big cooler, cutting a hole in in, attaching the flap from THIS cathouse onto the cooler hole, and putting THIS heating pad in there with a small fluffy blanket. My cat prefers the cooler.

I guess it's doing its job. How about two and I have two cats. So far one cat has found his way in there and seems to have found a home. Thumbs up cat like it.

It's good for a kitten, or a cat that likes curling up. My cat prefers laying like a loaf, and this would have him hanging halfway out. Due to the size, he won't even go in. Back to plan b of another large pet carrier with a heating pad and blanket. At least I know he enjoys being in his pet carrier.

Bought one last year, so good I bought 2 mor for my fixed outdoor cats. This house is above and beyond awesome.

This very sturdy little house worked great due to the severe cold weather ! Cats get cold too and it has been a cold winter. They had no issue going in it and cuddled together. The warm mat helped save them from the cold ! They now sleep in it every day. Highly recommend it and it's very sturdy, not one of those flimsy houses .

I was so excited about receiving the house, I promptly took it out of the box and put it together. In the process, my hand felt the edge of the house I realized after examining the product the entire front edge was not sewn down, or even put together properly. Before you put your house together, be sure you look at all of the parts, the front, the back, the side, the bottom the top. Perhaps this company doesn’t have anyone examining their products as they come off the line, and if they do, they missed it. Just beware before you use it.
