is the item waterproof?

This item is definitely water-resistant, I have had it on an outside faucet for two years without an issue. However, I do not believe that it is waterproof if you are asking if it would function submerged in liquid.

Put it on automatic and the program will run

I've put new batteries in, but cannot set the clock. it only flashes, but won't change. what am i doing wrong? thnx.
