Probably one of the best microphones that you can get. Very easy setup with its plug and Play feature, the microphone really captures your voice and it sounds nice and clearer. Probably the best microphone I've used since I began my streaming journey. I will say it's not 100% the best when it comes to doing voiceovers but it is possible for that role, you just got to adjust the sensitivity on the mic. But it's 100% perfect if you're using it for commentaries and to game and stream while talking to an audience. I've had no one tell me that my audio was bad and people even ask and compliment that my voice sounds good all thanks to this mic, so it is definitely worth the purchase.

Hands down the best mic I’ve ever used. It is surprisingly durable and functions exceptionally well. It’s sleek and works great with Apple products, totally compatible. I found adjusting it simple and most of all the price is a good value. Based on my experience I highly recommend the R0DE NT-USB+ professional grade mic. Such a good find.

This mic is a massive step up from standard USB options. The built-in pop filter and shock mount handle plosives and vibrations beautifully, leaving me with crisp, studio-quality vocals right out of the box. I love the onboard controls for volume and the direct headphone monitoring—it makes live tracking effortless. The sleek black design also looks fantastic on my desk. It's more expensive than a beginner mic, but the audio clarity and professional build make it absolutely worth the investment for streamers and podcasters."

The sound quality recorded by this mic is fantastic. It captures even the smallest of details from guitars, vocals, cajon, tambourine, eggs, oneshots, block flutes, classical flute, everything. Upon connecting to my laptop, it immediately updated the firmware and recognized the NT USB+. Ater starting my DAW, and setting up the device to be the NT USB+, everything worked perfectly. I couldn't be more pleased. The mic comes with a very nice and long heavy duty USB C cable. The wind screen isn't the greatest, but it's sufficient and should hold up well. The desk stand, while a nice sentiment, is very light weight plastic. It would have been much better if they had made it with metal to give it more stability. I tried the desk stand just to see how it was, and then I connected it to a boom mic stand. If you use the stand, I recommend you do it carefully. Lastly, on the funny side of things, I must say I believe this is the first time I've ever gotten anything that actually had branded desiccant, lol. Way to go Rode! I love it. If you're looking for a quality USB microphone, look no further. While it's on the higher price point in comparison to its nearest competitor, I've no regrets with this purchase, and I'm extra proud of the fact it's NOT MADE IN CHINA! AND, if that's not enough good news about a great product, I almost forgot to mention how this microphone is plug and play not only with my laptop, but also with my OnePlus android phone and my Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus Android tablet. On all platforms, works perfectly.

As one would expect, it's a Rode, so it's a great microphone. Overall, I'd say it's one of the best of the better USB mics. The supporting app isn't terribly impressive, but it does give you some rudimentary filtering and sound enhancements. What's funny is this is the best part about it, as primitive as the app is. As a plug-&-play, great sounding (if a little flat) travel and meeting mic, which filters keyboard, chair and pen noise – it's perfect. If they upped the game of the app, it'd be 5-stars as it'd *almost* comparable to an NT1 without all the XLR complexity. It'd be a 5-star if it had a better app.

Love this plug-and-play mic; I leave it set up in our music room to record and listen to my practice sessions. The mic is a quality, heavy-duty product that seems to be well made. Although the stand is plastic it functions just fine. While it's not the most cheap mic of it's kind, the quality is definitely worth it. Sound is crisp and clear and the mic does a great job of capturing the sound without clipping. Volume and record level are adjustable, and monitoring while recording is a cool feature. I installed the Rode Reporter app on my phone and use it regularly. Not sure why the online ratings in Google Play Store are not great; the app was easy to set up, and using it to record is as easy as plugging the mic into my phone and hitting the record button in the app. The app creates good quality files for immediate playback. Have not tried transferring and editing files yet.

The reason I bought this mic over others is a bit unique: I have a speech impediment and a naturally higher voice, so I was recommended this "flat" mic to mask some of those issues. The mic itself is great. Not only did it make my voice sound a bit deeper and warmer, but it lets you hear how the microphone itself picks up your voice, so I can listen in real time my pronunciation and flow. However, I knocked this off two stars for both the packaging and pop filter each. Like I've seen with other reviews, I could hear something rattling around when I got it, which is really bad for something you just paid $160 for. Opening I found both a part of the mic and the pop filter to be completely dislodged in the packaging. Fortunately, nothing was damaged. But still, not a great first impression. Also, the pop filter. I have no clue with these other reviews saying that the pop filter is great; maybe I just have particularly bad plosives or got a defective one, but the pop filter was terrible for me. Every single p and b spoken into the pop filter popped, away and near, and even any small mouth clicks or smacks were obvious. I ended up ordering a special 3-layer pop filter that's made for mics like these, and that was much better. So, like I said, the microphone itself is excellent, but the bad packaging and pop filter are definitely deterrents. Also, just as a heads-up (and this is really on me for glossing over it), the cable that comes with the mic is USB-C on BOTH sides. I found that you can use both a USB-C cable like one for a phone (though this was finnicky, sometimes my computer gave me a power surge warning) or get a USB-C to Male USB adapter to use the given wire.

Very solid microphone - comes with everything you might need to start recording your voice etc, and the quality of the recordings are excellent. The microphone is heavy as it does have a lot of metal in it, so if you want to use a boom then make sure it can handle that weight without drooping. The only issue I had with it was the plastic bracket that is used to screw it onto a mount broke - not a huge issue as was able to 3D print a replacement. I judge the quality of equipment not just by the items themselves, but also by how support works. I bought this over a year ago but it was still under its 2 year warranty, and the microphone started cutting in/out randomly. On investigation, it turned out to be a faulty USB-C port. I contacted support and said I was happy to replace the board if they could send/sell me a spare, but they just said to send it to them. Less than five business days later a new microphone turned up, complete with all the accessories including a new bracket. I was super impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of my interaction with Rode support, and could not think of a way that they could possibly improve the way they dealt with my issue. So, the main takeaways are - the microphone is excellent, definitely register the device online to ensure you have that 2 year warranty, and if you do need to contact their support then be prepared to be impressed. I was. :-)

Excellent microphone. It's excellent for recording music but also works great for everyday use. Highly recommended if you’re looking for professional sound quality. Delivery was fast and the packaging was secure, so it arrived in perfect condition. Really happy with this purchase.
