Easy install and still holding today
Bought to replace a leaking one in my house. This now only leaks when the pressure goes up and not constantly.

one time use product: leaks once activated
I bought several of these, they work, however all of them have the same problem which is that they leak once an overpressure event occurs. I tried to reseat the valve, which doesn't work.

It does what's needed
This was purchased to replace a newly installed 75 PSI relief valve purchased at a big home improvement store which continually dripped and popped off when the pump kicked on. It turns out the system pressure was set at around 70 PSI, and the 75 PSI valve was not enough to hold the pressure. 100 PSI relief valves do not appear to be a common option at big box stores. Once installed, this 100 PSI valve did not leak or pop off so far. The only negative thing is it is listed as a Merrill product leading one to think it was made in the USA, but the valve that I received was clearly marked as being made in Taiwan, if that kind of thing is important to you.
