1 X PILOT PERMANENT METALLIC GOLD PAINT MARKER MEDIUM

This is a great pen. It writes on any surface without bleeding, which is fantastic for a marker pen. Anything you write or draw is permanent and resistant to water etc, which is fantastic - but if you do make a mistake, a little acetone or nail varnish remover seems to do the trick! It's a lovely shade of gold, it's not too yellow at all - very metallic and a good, strong gold. It writes on black paper which is really great! The colour doesn't fade and is a consistent shade whatever surface you write on. It takes a few pushes of the nib to get the ink flowing, but once you've done that, you get a really lovely flow of ink that doesn't create any puddles or smears on the surface. It's perfect for decorating glass and mirrors, writing tags, decorating any sort of paper (like a diary or an envelope) - the only limit is what you can think of! For the price, and the impressive speed of delivery, I'm really glad I chose this pen as you couldn't ask for more! This is definitely a great investment and should I need to replace it ever I will be buying the same again.

I purchased this in order to do some delicate design work on a wall I am working on. The pen itself is similar to a grout pen, you shake and press the nib down to get the ink flowing. The colour of the gold is slightly dark, however once light hits it, it gives a wonderful shine. The nib has also remained intact even after prolonged use. Would definitely recommend, Pilot is a trustworthy, quality company.

To get the ink flowing press down on the nib and start on a test area. Then carefully apply the ink. I bought it for a birthday card I was writing but I was not overwhelmed by the finish.. It is dull and only just gold in colour (in my opinion). As for line thickness, it would be difficult to produce fine writing like with it. It dries fairly quickly and does not seem to produce more ink than needed when using it. It's not an item I would buy again but that's only my opinion.

The only reason I knocked off a star was that the pen arrived damaged but I figured the pen must still work and it did, I saw this pen being used on Instagram on polymer clay jewellery, this pen is brilliant and worth the price I have gone through my fair share of paying for pricey gold pens to the point I gave up and ended up buying the kamenskya hold acrylic paint which is quality pricey paints and known for their fantastic pigmentation. I would say this pen is equally as good as the kamenskaya gold acrylic paint in terms of how liquid gold it comes out on the polymer clay its shine reminds me of the gold painted on ceramic porcelain jewellery and it dries decent and its not a gold pen that has oil in it so it doesn't smudge easily, it's perfect for use on polymer clay earrings will defo buy again.

Brilliant paint pen. I bought this last March and have used it so write tags etc on gifts. Have done Easter, birthdays and all the extended families Christmas presents and it is still going. Easy to write with, always gives a good uniform line. Not much more to say, if you are after a paint pen then just buy this, especially at the price compared to the high street.

Brought these to write out place cards for a ball event onto black card and worked perfectly. Bold metallic ink that was clear and didn't run or smudge. Wrote out 100+ place names and didn't run out. Perhaps a little chunky for any detailed writing you might like to do, but certainly did the job it was for. Excellent purchase, would recommend.

This is the best pen I have found for giving a true metallic colour to your projects. I use this pen to edge wooden advent calendars, edge cards etc, and it gives a really good finish.
