LorenzWaist Bag (1454)

I bought this bag for somewhere to put my Samsung Note 4 when I go on holiday, rather than carrying it around in my jeans pocket. It does the job perfectly and of course, other stuff goes in it as well. There is a nice suppleness from the leather although mine had a bit of a musty smell about it - as if it had been shut away for 200 years!Ultimately, a great little bag that fits nicely around your waist and if you don't like the traditional bum bag this is a good alternative.Delivery was fast and it came through my letterbox, so no waiting in.

These bags are a bit naff in my view, and I have avoided them, in the main, certainly in my younger days.However, I often take trips now, that call for an easily accessible bag, to carry mobile, keys, ipod, tissues, water, a ten bob note, etc.Things you dont need a back pack for, and want to travel light.eg, I jog, walk, quite often 5 to 10 miles, and I find the need for these things. I am in my 70's so this may be why.I get cold easily if I slow down, and it is useful sometimes to have an extra, thin top, and so on. My mobile for emergencies.The Lorenz waist bag is perfect. It is not too big, or obtrusive, and carries all my requirements, except for a bottle of water.Well made leather, and is what it is.

Sturdy and well made, this bag had enough room for keys, passport, other papers, as well as a few personal odds and sods while travelling. Useful for airport security checks etc as it is small and easy to wear / remove. Only issue was the waist band which was a bit long for me, so I had to shorten it as far as it would go. However I'm fairly small build... The band is quick long and adjusts easily.Recommended if you want to have all your important papers in one place - or for events etc where you want to carry just a few essentials.

Looks bigger than it actually is. I am old school and still work in inches, so in metric, doesn't help in sizing. It is nice and flat, so doesn't bulk under a coat. A Euro passport fits and as do my insulin pens - just. I need it for my cruise holiday, so yes should do trick. Didn't award 5* as it looks bigger in picture. Yes if you wasn't small, square and compact, go for it. Nice supple leather

Great compact size for spectacle case, wallet, phone, keys and id card BUT terrible quality. Zips break, sewing frays, ,logo badge tears out of the soft leather and the belt clasp loosens so it can easily be snatched. Yet I keep replacing it because of its dimensions. If only someone could make a better quality version!

Satisfactory, and does the job for which it was bought (principally as an i-phone case0. The main pouch has satisfactory zips, and fully useable. There is one oddity - the side extensions both show a zipped front, and on one side there is an opening fastener, giving a very small extra pouch, but on the other side the zip is there, closed, but there is no way of opening it. Not a problem, as the pouch has three zipped pockets, and at least it looks symmetrical.

Love this bag. The leather is attractive. When not around my waist for travelling or just to be hands free, I use as a regular over the shoulder bag as it doesn't look like a conventional bum bag. It holds loads of stuff i.e. purse, rolled up shopping bag, hair brush, iPhone, passport, credit card holder, mascara, lippy, eyeliner and lip pencils, tinted moisturiser. Oh and a day's plastic medicine dispenser. Unbelievable as it looks so neat! Excellent!Well its now March 2016 and the zip on my bag is broken. Tragedy! I've used it every single day since I bought it in August. You might well guess, given my original review, that I burst the zip! I guess it couldn't quite handle everything I squeezed into it, but otherwise its still looking good. What a shame!

Nice soft leather with two large pockets big enough for sunglasses, reading glasses, small purse, notepad and lots of odds and ends. One smaller pocket OK for keys and two tiny pockets in side belt for trolley coins or stamps. This is the first time I've ever bought a waist (or bum) bag as I always thought they were so very un-chic but this one really looks pretty smart and, as I now can't carry a handbag due to a bad back, this lightweight bag is perfect for around the waist and is very practical for hands free shopping etc. Wish I'd bought one earlier rather than continually asking my husband to carry my bag! (You can imagine how that went down). Anyway, I'm thrilled with it.
