Such a great and sturdy case for the price! Lasted a long time, and they were used on my kids tablets. Love how it had a protectant cover for the screen.

My wife has been looking for a new case for her Ipad mini, and when we saw this one she thought it might be a good idea to buy since we have a baby who loves to grab her iPad. The installation was pretty straightforward and easy, took about 2 minutes. The case feels like a hard foam, seems to keep everything protected fairly well, the only thing I don't like is the plastic cover for the screen. I understand the need but it feels horrible to my fingers, though my wife doesn't mind it. So if you need to protect your ipad from kids, this is great, but just be aware the screen protector plastic is just a bit meh.

I just gave my son an iPad Mini 6, but I'm concerned he might scratch the screen, since the case he is using doesn't have a screen protector. It's difficult to find cases these days that include one, and I don't like the ones that you have to apply directly to the surface of the iPad. It's too difficult to get the bubbles out or clean them if a bit of dirt or some other object gets between the screen and the protector. The type that comes with this case is much easier to work with. The screen protector is integrated into the frame that snaps into place on top of the iPad, then you insert the whole iPad including the frame into the case. If a foreign object gets under the screen protector, you can just lift it off, use some compressed air to blow it clean, then put it back on. Very simple to deal with. The case itself protects the sides and back of the iPad quite well, and it has a stand built into the handle that can be used in 2 different positions. If you have a child who you want to give an iPad too, this case is an inexpensive investment that will protect your iPad against any damage which could be very expensive to fix. Even if you have AppleCare for your iPad, just replacing a cracked screen would cost $49. For that price you could buy 3 of these cases.

Adults might find some difficulty using the fingerprint reader on their iPad Mini 6th generation model since the case almost blocks it. Smaller fingers that children who this case is designed for should have no issues. Also, be careful with removing the hard plastic case from the IPad if it breaks it will not fit back into the foam case properly. Most people will not remove the case once it’s on but I regularly change cases depending on where I’m using the IPad or if I need to change out the SIM. This is a good case which I use at home to both protect and help find my iPad mini among the sea of dark colored gadgets lying around. The hard plastic case provides minimal protection for your iPad mini and I’m not sure if it will work properly if you put a tempered glass protector on your iPad. This might be a dealbreaker for some people so be aware if you’re looking at this case for your needs.
