Great hat

The hat as a hat is reasonably good quality. It's certainly thicker than pound shop offerings; fairly soft and not scratchy.Set up instructions are clear with easy to follow diagrams.Pairing to an iPhone took a just a few moments *after* I'd charged the unit fully with the supplied lead. The instructions say to not charge for longer than 2 hours or risk overcharging. Personally I'd happily have paid a few quid extra for a battery protection circuit. So set a timer when charging.Controls are easy to use though a little fiddly to begin with. Once familiar with the button placement it becomes easier. And here's the flaw: the controls are on the left hand side of the hat. I'm slowly getting used to reaching up and around with my right hand but it seems daft not to have placed them for the majority who are right handed. I've tried wearing the hat backwards but it doesn't feel right (sic) on the head.Sound quality is OK for the spoken word - podcasts, BBC Sounds plays / comedies, etc. - but music obviously sounds a little tinny. There's no bass or sound cancelling but at this price I'm not complaining.Washing is possible as the speakers can be removed via a hole at the back of the hat. It requires care as the cable is very thin and the main control unit is a tight fit but it is possible. The instructions give clear guidance on removal, washing and refitting.All in all, a good buy despite the awkward controls. Dog walks are certainly a lot more enjoyable now.

this is perfect for walking the dog whilst listening to music or a podcast. Hat is comfy and can't feel the speakers - a great gift

Sound is great, it’s defo like a beanie with a little room and not really tight to ur head. Warm but not roasting.The sound is surprisingly great, honestly for the price is unreal.
