So far it seems to be working with the neighbors dogs. Not sure about deer. I know that it bothers my teen and young adults grandchildren. They say they hear the shrill siren sound. I don't. It goes off if there is even a branch waving in the radius of the radar.

I had to take back my 5 star review due to the fact that the battery completely drained out before those cats appeared. Why? I have a lots of plants in our garden where the wind blow by to make leaves moving which triggered this device all day long. And it stopped working. The cats pooped right in front of the device!I had used so many ways to keep those cats invaded my gardens, but all failed. Until I found this ultrasonic animal repeller. It works very well. I placed order for second pairs to put in my front yard to keep them off our premise.

These really work and work really well! We had a terrible squirrel problem this spring. Darn tree rats were tearing up our backyard worse every day. These units were the best value I found on Amazon, so I thought I'd give them a shot. As soon as they arrived, I stuck them in the ground without paying attention to the effective range or angle. I also eyeballed how far they were above the ground and how straight they were. Initial results were pretty bad. I took a tape measure and level out over the next weekend. They have an effective distance of about 30 feet and you need to pay attention to the angle the sensor can see (110 degrees per the instruction sheet). Once I laid them out more diligently, they worked like a charm! No squirrels and no digging in the protected area. My neighbors now seem to have an abundance of squirrels playing in their yards... :) I will likely be buying more of these for the front yard. Great product!

I purchased to ward off packrats; it did not work. Then I switched to addressing the rabbits and so far so good. Each scenario was given a 2 week test. I would buy again to deter small animals less sturdy than packrats.

Last year I planted my first garden, and we are surrounded by squirrels and birds. I love them, but I did not want them in my garden. I read every possible perspective on keeping them out, from planting mint, Irish Spring soap, cinnamon, Cats, you name it. And then I saw this product on Amazon. We put one in each of the four corners of the garden, and we did not have one squirrel, one bird, not even a grasshopper, feast on our hard work. Simple, reusable, solar powered, so very inexpensive. It works.

I had high hopes this would work and keep rabbits out of my yard. But alas there are a few brave souls that come to graze anyway. I didn't have my camera with me but I looked out my window and saw a rabbit sitting about 2 feet in front of the solar repeller. He was enjoying the nice weather. Wasn't fazed at all by the repeller. In all fairness I was accustomed to 10-20 rabbits in my front yard in the evening. Now there are only between three and five rabbits, so maybe it has helped somewhat.

Keeps all the critters away. Squirrels were the main problem as well as deer eating our plants. No issues anymore

Did not deter deer from entering or staying in area.
