quality product
i bought this saddle for my cube cross 500 e bike first impression was comfort i am still breaking it in the saddle will shape over time i only use the e bike in the summer months so it may take years to break it in you need to dab brooks proof hide before use to keep the leather in tip top condition , its weakness is the rain as in getting the saddle wet but neither do i i use a cover when im not on the saddle its minor for the comfort you get from it this saddle should last a lifetime , also forgot to mention the most important bit the springs are really firm and do not bounce when cycling just right cushion for hard jolts , to sum it up most comfortable saddle you can buy handmade in England and not from china

Great classy looking saddle
Very comfortable saddle. Massive improvement over saddle that came with bike. This one is a bit narrower than saddle it replaced as riding position is more semi-upright than full upright and makes a big difference. Could immediately feel the springs doing their job and after a few weeks of use can feel the leather moulding itself to my shape. So very happy

Heirloom saddle
I suspect this will be going many moons after my bum is gone! It's that sort of quality saddle. No it's not padded, no it's not got memory gel or bottom padding. It's just the right shape for a bum, will mould to your bum over time and become really really comfortable. The suspension is great and really helps with the uk roads. Second one I've had and a new bike would get another for it !

... the world at large has already said about this great saddle - if you make the investment you will ...
I cannot say much more to what the world at large has already said about this great saddle - if you make the investment you will never look back - you are buying tried and tested quality here which wont let you down. Highly recommended and at a tenner less than the usual price. There is however 1 caveat; this supplier ships the saddle in a Brooks plastic bag that is delivered in a plain box with the little instruction manual and a small sachet of Proofide saddle conditioner. It does NOT, however, come with the special adjustment spanner and when I contacted Brooks themselves they told me that ALL their saddles should come with the spanner. Not a big thing but you will eventually need one and it is NOT a normal spanner - the nut you turn may look like any other nut but you won't be able to access it properly unless you have the dedicated spanner. Be warned!

Sensible investment.
Makes riding along potholed London streets a little more comfortable. The leather on this standard Flyer stretches more quickly than on the Flyer Specials I've fitted to my other bikes, requiring regular adjustment, which is a bit fiddly even with the supplied key (a Mole wrench is needed to clamp the bolt). Some reviewers have complained that the springs squeak. I can't say that I've noticed this myself.

Good and comfortable
Those leather Brooks saddles become very comfortable. Not bad to start with, but they just get better and better as the leather forms to your shape.

Great saddle...
Was a great saddle, already pretty comfortable after a few months although you're still wearing it in obviously over a couple of years. Along with the expensive proofide that has to be ritualistically rubbed in every few months to keep it supple for a long life, bit of maintenance keeping the various bolts tight but not too tight. Looked fantastic and everything and a great history of the company hence the cost...but - one day the back spring just sheared off showing how shoddy the actual build is. This is from a road bike's life of occasional commute on good quality cycle lanes. (not a pleasant feeling having your saddle come away at speed). Really should last more than 5 years at that price. Won't be buying another one.

wrong!
bought a brooks a few years ago ; b17. rode it for 30 miles and thoght no way! My problem is i have a small protrusion of bone on the underside of my right pelvis which after a while is like sitting on a small pebble! first found it 20 years ago. as a result ive always had to use soft saddles. Ironically the best saddle i had was a tenner from argos and lasted about 10 years seeing me through cycling tours of up to 1300 miles in 11 days, it bit the bullet so i though id give brooks another try. this has surpassed my expectations and aside from the bone deformity it took about 70 miles to realise this might be the one! i still feel the bone protrusion slightly but the real test will be in aug 2019 when i have another trip planned where ill normally average 100 miles a day, ive bought some padded undershorts purely because of the 'pebble'....time will tell' if you have a 'normal ass' though, give this a try....'''''''
