We had the name brand version of this before and it broke on the first use. This is a cheaper off brand that is near the same quality. The ice cream maker is a little hard to push and must be held on the back while pressing or the pressure will snap the handle. It does not hold very much playdogh and you have to keep reloading. The included playdough is poor quality and I suggest using name brand or homemade so you don't break the machine right away. The molds are cute and easy to use. If children can learn to hold the ice cream maker carefully while pressing you can get your money's worth out of the machine. It's definitely not going to last forever but we had the same problem with the more expensive name brand so in my opinion this is a acceptable alternative.

Not very easy to use for four-year-old or mother

This playset is really nice value for what you get the accessories The many colors of clay and the memories you will have as you play with your child with this set my daughter has so much fun with this set and she is 5 years old we play together and I would also like to add that this would make a great gift it is not cheesy which meaning it is not an inexpensive look it is definitely worth the money and looks expensive but in reality you're really catching a deal because I know products like these could really be costly and just as described it comes with all the pieces included in the description and the clay in small little containers but goes a very long way. I give it five stars and quality and an excitement around the chart I have no complaints about it and I definitely think it is worth the money and the buy. Thank you...

First we bought this set to add some different tools to our dough collection. There are several tools that come with these set. My 5yr old did need some help squeezing the ice cream down. But I’m not surprised. But over all he like the tools. 5 stars here.The dough on the other hand is not as great.There is not much dough of each color and the containers it comes in break easily. They are thin plastic 1oz containers. See pictures of the one I broke trying to open it. I apparently put a bit too much pressure on the bottom. The dough itself is fine if you can put it into other containers. Subtracted one star for the dough.

I would say this is very close to the well-known products so it's prob good to see if your little ones would enjoy the play dough toys. That being said, it's difficult for my (almost) 5-year-old toddler to push down the ice cream to come out. Maybe the older kids won't have this issue. The other thing is you only get a 'sample' of the play dough so make sure to have some extra on hand.

This play dough ice cream maker comes with many accessories to decorate ice cream and popsicles. The included play dough is definitely different from the name brand stuff, it is more akin to slime almost. It has a hard time coming out of the various molds unlike the name brand play dough. The ice cream machine itself is built to put a lot of force on the base which is not conducive to a long life. It takes a bit of force to push the play dough out and all of that is being directed at the base connected between the ice cream tower and base. I am skeptical it will last long without knowing to hold the base as you push. For the price, this is an acceptable off brand product that comes with lots of accessories. I would use name brand play dough with it to make the molds easier to use.

This is a very cheap poor quality play set. I feel my order was substituted or this is a very misleading item.
