This magnifying glass with a nice bright LED ring light around the lense works great. Makes soldering my custom keyboards much easier and helps my solders look great.

It is not heavy duty built but will do the job. Plenty bright. Also controls on light versus on cord like other models is big plus.

I originally bought a smaller lamp from Amazon, same kind of articulated style, just shorter arm segments. It was ok, but very limiting where I could use it. My hobby bench is 78x32". I bought this lamp and have loved it. It's large enough that it can go all the way across the depth of the desk and help me find screws I've dropped on the floor. The tension on the arms is perfect and it stays wherever you put it. The controls on the lamp are so much more convenient than the controls that were on the cord of my old lamp. This lamp also remembers the settings you used last, both color cast and brightness level. Highly recommended.

I bought this magnifying lamp for doing cross stitching. My eyes aren't what they used to be and so I needed a magnifying glass from time to time. I liked the length of the arms, all others were really short. So, this product served this purpose well. I had a problem with it not staying in place. It would either stay way down or all the way up, no mid range. I set an inquiry to the seller and they were quick to respond with tips to check first before requesting a return. I thought I was tightening the mid joint screw pretty tight, but apparently I wasn't, so I had my husband help me and now it works just fine. This is a great seller in helping to troubleshoot my problem.Update: I've had this one now for about a month and I bought a smaller one that was a 10x and it didn't compare in strength, this is sooo much better that I returned the smaller one and bought a second one of these.I do have a complaint about the power box though. I couldn't figure out why the light kept flickering. I went to check the connection and it had heated up so much so that it was way to hot to handle. I ended up changing it out to a better quality power box. No problem now with the flickering.

I like this light. Just about the right size for what I wanted.Only problem I find with it is the on/off button.I sometimes have to press it multiple times to turn it off.Not sure if it's a defect, or just a bad button design.Being made in china, I'm sure it's a poor design.Like all made in china stuff, we'll see how long it last before it dies.

Great product was well packaged. Works as advertised realy bright light and fully adjustable for different uses. You can change color of light from led white to incandescent warmth really good product
