Ease of use: While the instructions were a bit lacking, this product came with a qr code that sent you to a great YouTube video showing you each step of the process.Quality: the needles were durable for me and did not break. They provide a few in different sizes so you have all you need. The wool was a fine quality to use and felted pretty easily. The felting pad is just Styrofoam so it's not the best. Bits of it kept getting stuck in the felt. But at this price point, what can you expect?Appearance: this was my first time felting! So, of course it looked a little wonky. And I did deviate from the directions a bit. Ran out of the coffee color pretty quickly, so remember to use it carefully!But the company did a great job designing this kitty and keeping it simple enough for beginners that it's pretty easy to keep it looking okay..if that makes sense.Overall, a great purchase! Not a lot of money for a great learning experience and nice quality product!

The instructions were easy to follow and in a couple hours completed my little felt kitty. Be careful while felting because the felting needles are very sharp. Definitely refer to the video on the QR code of the instructions if you get confused because it is very helpful!

This was my first ever felting project and I wanted to try something basic before attempting some more advanced projects. Overall, I felt the the process was fairly easy but does take some finesse and attention to detail. I was able to complete the beagle over an estimated 4 hours. Unfortunately I did accidentally break one needle so I’m glad the kit includes extras. I would advise NOT for children as the needles are SHARP and stabbing yourself is reality. I did deduct one star because the felting pad included is horrid and the instructions aren’t the best. However, this is easy enough to figure out. I had plenty of wool left over and I made this dog def larger than key chain size.

We have some beagles so of course I picked this one. So far it’s going well- instructions are easy to follow and all supplies came with it!

Loved this kit it was good to get the feel of needle felting never have done it before. Will definitely be getting more!

Ok kit for a beginner has everything you need to make it but the directions could be a little better need to save parts of the wool for ears and legs but doesn’t say how much or to do it before you make the body plus there is no way to know which needles are which they are not marked in any way fun little project though

It was a lot of fun making it. It was my first time trying it. It came with all the necessary items and clear instructions. Didn’t have any issues with needles. The only thing was that I had to use some glue to put in eyes so they won’t fall out, but that was about it. Plan to order another one form the seller.

The media could not be loaded. I enjoyed felting for the first time and i used just the step by step instructions manual to achieve this beautiful dog. For a first try, i think i did great, for a more smooth look, i suggest felting more. The wool was just enough for this project. Love it and will do it again because it was soothing. The quality of the needles are great and know break on me.
