Challenging, Stunning, and Immersive: My Journey Through Horizon Forbidden West
I would. I loved the first HZD game, and Forbidden West lives up to the first. The mechanics gave me the same vibes as the first one did, and reminded me of Shadow of the Colossus. Which is also one of my favorite playstation titles. The difficulty of this game is no joke, and I appreciated how challenging it was. I felt like I earned, that said one of the major critiques of the game I have was how big the download was. Its massive, ~90 gb once installed on your system. So if you play games like destiny or COD, youre going to have to make room for it. It is understandable tho because there arent many loading screens. mostly when you are respawning. I found that to be impressive. The storyline is fast paced, and you're greeted with platforming mechanic almost imediately. That is no surprise given that it is an open world game. The story picks up 6 months after the end of HZD and the story ties well into that as well. I will say that some of the side quests, why they do tie into the story, were a bit cheesy. like they didnt get the same attention as the main story. The mechanics of the game were a bit tough for me at first. I mostly play FPS games and switching back to 3rd person was an adjustment. Until i got used to 3rd person i made many mistakes. They also didnt really explain how to modify weapons or use the skill tree very well. So I would give the mechanics 3.5 out of 5.The combat and graphics however! 5/5 stars. Nothing in this game came easy. and the graphics were near perfect for a game made for ps4 and played on the ps5. I loved how difficult the game was because I am a damage dealer, and a good one at that, I was never a tank, so i had to learn how to stay alive while playing bosses who are OP. There is one thing to note about the graphics. the running animation for aloy was funny. it felt out of place, and it made me laugh a few times.Performace wise, the game ran almost flawlessly. the load times were super quick for such a large game. I did run into a few bugs tho. There were to memorable instances in boss fights were i got stuck on a ledge or pushed out of bounds that required a checkpoint restart. While that was annoying, the restart refreshed the game and cleared the error.ConclusionI felt totally immerese the whole time, and the side quests that werent cheesy, did add to the main story. Would i replay the game once I fully complete the game? Prolly not, i am currently about 45% of the way through the game and have been playing the game for about 30 or so hours. One thing that felt a little disapointing was the Tallnecks. Just like the first game, they were fun and a wonderful puzzle to figure out, at the time of completeing the campaign, I had finished 3 of the 6 in the game and onces i was nearing the end i received a mount that allowed me to cheese 2 of the final 3. that was disappointing to me.all in all this game is an incredible game that is beautiful, challenging and the story really is something that is entertaining. It is definately not perfect, but if you liked the first game, this will be well worth your time.

Amazing game!
The graphics, The music, the gameplay, This game is perfection. I played it only 12 hours so far and it keeps getting better and better every hour. I highly recommend it for those who like open world games.

Gorgeous, expansive, engrossing fun
This game looks so good. Sequelizing Horizon: Zero Dawn, this game follows Aloy in her next set of challenges now that she’s the savior of meridian. Gameplay is pretty much the same, so all your controller usage will transfer over, but the world is more varied, the challenges are more varied, and the open world offers more opportunities for ADHD missions. If you liked becoming high powered and hard to kill in HZD, you will miss that in this game. Aloy’s power and defenses are kept more in line with her adversaries (or harder to level up) in this game. It makes for better gameplay, but it is a little disappointing after finishing HZD basically on god mode.Only lousy things about this game are the bits that weren’t ready for public production. The map doesn’t display information consistently (some places turn green when you complete them some places display a new symbol when missions are complete, others don’t), which can leave you wasting hours trying to figure out what you’ve missed, when you haven’t missed anything at all. Supplies are often found inside solid objects you can get through to get the supplies. As you get to the end of the game, the NPC archers get annoyingly good, with reaction times only possible if they can read your controller inputs. That said, what a remarkable, engrossing, expansive world of adventures. I spent 160 hours playing through this (I’m bad at games, and very distracted by side quests), and I couldn’t stop. Really enjoyable, addicting, rewarding game. Buy your spouse something nice because you won’t be around much for awhile.

WARNING!! This is not US version!
Found out the hard way that this game is not US version. After completing the game and when trying to install dlc "burning shores" found out that this game is from EU region. So dlc won't work. Don't buy this if you plan on purchasing the dlc.

Bueno y rápido
Se lo regalé a mi nieto de 13 años y le gustó mucho. Llegó en el tiempo indicado y bien protegido.

Not USA version
The game plays and operates fine, per my son. However he purchased a DLC which does not work because the game apparently is not the USA version and the DLC does not support the region. How would anyone know this? The description of the product does NOT say anything about this.
