This coat worked well for a recent holiday to one of the Scottish Isles. It strikes a good balance between keeping you warm enough and also not being too warm that you are itching to take it off. I love the colour and the ability to tighten at the waist is a nice touch. Good pocket depth and I like that they have zips. The hood has some good depth and will stay up, if the the coat is zipped up, in the wind. The length is good and I think it makes a nice coat for most occasions.

Have had this coat for a month now, and it's been raining alot whilst out walking the dog so have been able to test it fairly well.I bought an XL which is x2 sizes larger than the recommended one. I prefer to have a loose walking coat so I have room to wear a hoody or warm jumper underneath and still be able to put things in the pockets without them bulging. The coat is a lovely shape and looks smart.The water beads off initially but if you're out in standard strength rain for over 30-40min the fabric does eventually absorb a little moisture, not too much, but the inside fleece lining on the arms does feel a bit damp to the touch.I hang it up with it stretched open to dry out and by the afternoon it is dry.Other than that it's great coat. The Length is great, I love the colour (I bought teal) and the feel of the outer material. The inner material is like a grey microfiber/microfleese so its soft and warm, it's a great windbreaker coat and keeps out chills.I tend to get warm when walking so for me I'd say this is a good winter/early spring coat. when it regularly starts getting over 15 degrees I'll have to wear something lighter otherwise I'll get too warm.The outer zipped pockets are great and fully lined with the microfleese, as is the inner large pockets too which are open at the top - these are really handy.It has a nice big hood so I can wear my hair up in a bun at the back and still get full coverage!Only thing that would make it perfect for me, would be the addition of a small inside zipped pocket which would be good for carrying a debit card or some emergency cash - something my last coat had and was very useful.We will see how long it holds up....it may need reproofing at some point, but overall I am happy with it.

This is a lovely soft warm coat, lightweight and durable, easy to wipe down and has a lovely soft fleece lining, it is also windproof and can be worn anywhere, it is purple which is my favourite colour, I love this coat

It's great value lovely warm fleece inside to massive inside pockets and zip up pockets on outer it's a real great coat love choice of colours too fit is really good too not tight zip is good sturdy one not flimsy functional in winter and wet weather too.

Perfectly sized . Enough room for a winter jumper underneath without feeling uncomfortable.great length. Shed rain well and dried quickly.not washed yet so unable to comment on that aspect.lovely colour. Adjustable cuffs Deep pockets ..possibly too deep ,i lost my keys in them !!

Smart coat and lovely colour but size 12 too big on shoulders and too long on sleeves. Although it felt good waterproof didn’t feel it would be warm enough for winter

Ordered as I wanted waterproof but light and warm, this jacket does all those things. Repells a downpour well, in medium rain. Long to just above my knee (5'7). Arms are a little long, but not an issue due to the wrist straps. Decent sized pockets. I choose XL at size 18, but I could have downsized. Its room for me. Colour is slightly darker than the picture. I will def purchase a lighter colour for spring. Could easily fit into a large handbad or small rucksack, rolled up. Had lots of people asking where it is from.
