I needed to add these to my shower post surgery. I had tried another brand, but they kept falling. These stay put and are extremely durable. Highly recommend. Just remember to always check them before you get into the shower, even though they have not fallen while I was in the shower, nothing stays put forever, you should take them off & reattach every so often to guarantee that they stay put.Also, very easy to clean when you are also cleaning the shower.

I had purchased suction cup grab bars in the past and had to return them. These are completely different.They go on well and the best part is that they stay on. I put one on tile in the shower which had grout lines so the suction cup had to go over the grout lines. The other one I put on the drywall just outside the shower and it had a texture and was not smooth. Both of the grab bars stay exactly when I put them. Another great factor is that they can hold a substantial weight. I have had to pull them hard and they stay just where they are.Completely satisfied. I highly recommend them.

We installed these about three months ago in the shower. They installed easily and seemed really sturdy. Until this morning when I grabbed one of them for support and it slid down about six inches on the tile. So I checked the other one to see if it was still solid and it slid down the wall too. I will attempt to reattach them, but now I don't trust them. If I slip, I want to be sure that when I grab for support, that I'll actually have that support. I wouldn't buy these again. This is an update. I have changed my review from two stars to one. We reattached the grab bars. Within 36 hours, one of them fell off...in the middle of the night when no one was anywhere the shower. The second one lasted a few weeks longer, but started sliding down the tile over a week ago. This morning it fell off by itself...again no one was anywhere near the shower. I think these grab bars are dangerous. If you have them installed, you expect them to be there for support. When you slip and grab hold and they just slide, they're more dangerous than having no support at all. At least when you have no support, you're aware of it. When you have these for support and they don't support you, you could wind up in the ER or the morgue. DON'T BUY THESE! They're dangerous and scary.

I wouldn't trust them to yank myself up, but they are very sturdy. You should every once in a while. Maybe once a month, take them off the wall, clean it and put them back on. Other than that, for a firm handhold, they work very well.

These hand hold work well. They attach to a polished ceramic tile and stay in place most of the time. I noticed there is some slippage after being in one place for a while. Once I move them to a new location the grip is solid. These hand holds are suitable to help keep you balanced but I am over 250 lbs and would not trust they would hold if I was to fall. Someone smaller in stature would probably be safe to trust them.

I looked at a lot of grab bars on Amazon before I decided on this brand. I saw other people's comments about what they did to make their grab bars stay on -- cleaned the wall, cleaned the suction cups with rubbing alcohol, pus the grab bar really hard for 5 seconds before pressing the tabs down.I did that before installing it on my shower wall of cultured marble. Within the first 24 hours, one bar fell off 4 times. The other one stayed on fine.Since the one bar wouldn't stick, I got a replacement set. (It arrived the very next day after I requested it from Amazon!) I did the same cleaning for this set of bars and installed them in my shower. They've been installed for a week now and I haven't had any problems whatsoever. I'm so glad!I recommend these grab bars!

Remove them from the shower wall after every use. They lose their grio and fall after about 2 hours. Easy to position. Need better suction.

My husband who is a combat 32nd airborne veteran has had surgery on his ankle so many times and had already slipped too many times in the bathroom when taking a shower. I decided to get these shower grab bars from Amazon and I was leary at first because my husband is very strong and I thought well let's see if these workHe hooked them up in the shower and I even used them and they are great, and so easy to put on the tile. So last night he took a shower and he knew he was slipping even with a bath mat that I had and grabbed the shower grab bars which stopped him from falling in the bath tub again. I am thankful that I chose this product for him.Keep up the good work. I highly recommend this product.
