My 2-year-old son loves Peppa Pig so I thought he might like this toy. He's been having fun playing with it but please note this train is a push and play - NOT a motorized train that moves on its own. It's also takes 3 AA batteries which are not included. It plays a variety of fun sounds and songs and comes with different cards to run over with the train. When the train runs over a certain card, it will make a specific saying or song. Also, the three characters come out and have different shapes at the bottom which helps youngsters learn their shapes. If your kid loves Peppa, he/she will love this train toy!

My son just turned 1 year old. And although it says age appropriate for 2yrs old and above he likes playing with it. Very interactive, colorful and well built. Worth the price. The size fits well with his tiny hands and so he likes holding the kids' cart up close to him to inspect it and as well as pushing Grandpa Pig's cart.

This Grandpa Pig Clever Train is best for ages 18 months to 2 years old, as it has a larger form than the other Peppa Pig brand toys and interacts in a way that is clearly designed for a younger crowd. The characters provided are lightweight and designed to assist in the development of gross and fine motor skills. Each character is a "peg", designed to fit into the appropriate shaped slot (Grandpa is triangle, Peppa is a circle and George is a square). If your child is a fan of the Peppa Pig series but is not yet at the 3+ age range for the other series of toys and figurines, then this toy is an excellent starting point for their collection.If your child is aged three and older, the longevity of play of this toy will not be overly high. As previously mentioned, nothing with this train is compatible with any of the 3+ toys. This is designed as a stand-alone toy, with many interactive features designed for a younger child who is discovering self-guided play. For that purpose, this is a fantastic toy. Not only does it interact with the provided colored cards, the large blue "engine" button responds when pressed with a familiar Grandpa pig voice. The train is a thrilling and interactive imaginative toy for toddlers and the characters mimic the characters from the TV series precisely.The only suggestion I would make is to have this toy designed as a "grow with me" format, perhaps making it able to convert to a 3+ toy when the child that was gifted it outgrows the toddler features but is expanding their Peppa Pig toy collection. If you are searching for a gift for a toddler-aged fan of the Peppa Pig series, I would definitely recommend this train. However, if your child has advanced beyond the toddler stage, this toy may not be of much interest to them.

It uses a light sensor to read the color of the cards it runs over. However it just keeps reading the brown wood floor as the orange card, so keeps obnoxious repeating the same lines over and over. The kids love it as a peppa train, but not nearly as cool as I thought it would be. No educational value. Just an annoying train toy

This toy is a must buy for toddlers that are a fan of Peppa Pig. There are 3 figures - Grandpa Pig, Peppa and George - they are riding the train and its an interactive toy that talks - it has 20 words and phrases. A lot of fun that keeps the kids occupied and teaches them at the same time. Makes for a nice Christmas gift too!

My Grandson loves Peppa Pig and when I gave him this Grandpa Pig’s Clever Train he was so excited!! He has played with the train all over our house!! He is so happy with this toy so I am so happy!! Quality toy that makes multiple sounds and phrases. Highly recommend for young children.

My 4 year old loves this set. We have yet to put batteries in so I’m sure it’ll be even better when we have. She enjoys the shapes on the bottom of each figure and how it’s easy to place them in.

Our 3 year-old granddaughter loves Peppa Pig...and she loves this train. Very cute on its own, and the cards that the train passes over to announce destinations are a great idea. The characters are big enough that little hands can easily hold them. I think the price is a bit high for this toy but it is definitely made well and appeals to those who love Peppa and her family.
