The photo on Amazon and on the packaging shows a display of 0.0g, thus indicating that these sclaes will weight to 0.1g. They don't. This misleading image is down to Salter and should be replaced immediately. By the way, Amazon, what's happened to the 'update product info' and 'give feedback on images' links? To apply the 'the honey-drizzle test', place a jar of runny honey on your scales and with a large teaspoon extract a ball of honey. Turn the spoon with one hand to keep the honey in place and with the other zero your scales. Let the honey drizzle into the jar. The weight shown should go up rapidly, 2, 4 grams and then slow but never stop until the honey has almost stopped flowing, reaching 10-11 grams. Dip the spoon back in the jar and extract aout the same amount of honey. Your scales should read (near) zero. If your scales fail this test, you'll have trouble trying add small amounts of anything and your scales will only be reliable to about 5 grams.

Nice lightweight scales

I use this at least twice a day (to weigh out dog food) or more often if needed. It has worked faultlessly. However it has a very small stand area and I have to place the dog bowl on a cup before zeroing it to be able to get an accurate weight. Apart from that I have been pleased with the machine.

Great little kitchen scales. They have a solid feel to them, they report the weights reliably, and tuck away easily enough when not in use.They don't have a stand of their own, but I will have a look on amazon for one of those cheap little "decorative plate stand" things I think and just use that!

It looks from the ad like it does 1/10th of grams but it doesn’t, only does 1g increments.
