Electric blankets are awesome, I put this on a smart plug, one of my favourite things I ever bought, had it a while now. Alot cheaper to run than expected, on its highest setting its using 2p per hour according to my smart meter. Very warm too.

The Premium Comfort King Size Electric Blanket is very good value for money. It heats up quickly, is economical to use on the lowest heat setting and is very warm on the highest heat setting. I am impressed. I am also very pleased there is only one heat setting controller, as I find they tend to get in the way along with their electric cables. The electric blanket plug is also conveniently situated very near to one corner of the blanket. I have not had any issues with it getting in the way. As this is an economy blanket, it's quite thin. I prefer this and hardly ever feel it underneath the valance and bed sheet which I place above it. When I first received the blanket, I was quite dubious of it: I noticed there are not too many string attachment points to keep the blanket in a fixed position. There is plenty of string supplied with the blanket however and I extended a few of the strings which I had previously attached, as set out in the supplied diagram. The blanket is now fixed in place with about twice the amount of string as recommended and there is still quite a lot of spare string remaining. The extra string will certainly do no harm: The string has been pulled tight, but not as tight as possible, which could put a strain on the blanket and it's string attachment points. The diagram recommends strings running horizontally along the underneath of the width of the mattress. I also have string running at 45 degree angles under the corners of the mattress, top and bottom, in order to fix the blanket in place length ways as well as the recommended width way. I hope this helps all the people who are new to attaching electric blankets with the familiar story of having poor written instructions supplied with a product.

Purchased this product after reading loads of reviews on different electric blankets. Didn't want to pay a fortune for one as it was our first one and a lot of reviews said they didn't last long. A few reviews on this particular one said it didn't work after a few months so we'll see how long it lasts. Thought the ties to fit it around the mattress were a bit annoying but after fitting it, it hasn't moved at all. Also thought that my husband was going to complain about feeling the wires whilst he was sleeping but he hasn't mentioned it and you don't really notice them when sleeping on it. So far so good with the blanket, takes about 15mins to get a good heat in it but is very warm and cosy, especially now the nights are getting cold. Haven't slept with it on all night as don't trust electric blankets but after a wee blast before bed it's nice and cosy to switch off and go to sleep. Even had the kids in the bed trying it out and they all want one now! Would recommend although the box it was delivered in was very flimsy and it was in bits by the time it reached my house. They could do with a redesign on their packaging but other than that, no complaints.

A great price for a great product! I was in the market for an electric blanket and this one did not disappoint. VERY easy to use and secure to the bed, though in my case, the ribbons for securing the product were slightly short on account of my mattress being thick memory foam. Something to consider but can be easily fixed with extra household ribbon if needed. 3 different warmth settings means you can easily adjust the temp. I find setting it to 3 about an hour before I'm due to go to bed makes things lovely and toasty. Then, once I'm in bed, I drop to setting 1 and sleep like a baby. The single size is perfect for a standard Single bed though I'd be aware of the length of the ties for securing it to the mattress- they can come up slightly short depending on the thickness of your mattress. No noise to report and the blanket is thin enough to gently sit on top of the mattress without feeling bulky. Control options are simplistic with a straightforward slider design. Both top and bottom temp options are 0 so it's easy enough to switch the blanket off while sleepily fumbling around in the darkness but just in case, the control also has a soft orange light to indicate it's ON. Overall, a brilliant product for a very reasonable price and I'm sorry I didn't get one sooner. Great for cold Irish winters and soothing sore backs! 11/10 would highly recommend.

Bought this for my camper van. Although its a “double” size don't expect it to fit a double bed its smaller by quite a bit but it happily runs off a 12v 220w inverter inside my camper van from my 200ah lithium bank no problems heats up good and i can keep it on all night and it wont drain my batteries.. Defo a good buy. Please note im NOT stating this is a 12v blanket its mains 220v but i used a 12v to 220v 220watt inverter to run this in my van with no issues..

Before buying this electric blanket I did a lot of research. Originally I was going to buy a more expensive blanket which had zoned areas and more heat settings. Then I read the reviews for these types of blankets and found that often, after about 14 months, one of the zones would stop working. Also I noticed that with the zones there was an area down the middle not covered. I wanted the whole of the bed to be warm and as this product is less than a third of the price of a zoned blanket decided to give it a try. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. It has very good tapes which go under the mattress for securing to the bed. (It has not moved out of place). The product is well made and looks as if it will last. It is a very generous size and covers from just under the pillow area to right down to the end of the bed. (Note: If you order I suggest keeping to the size of your bed. I ordered a king size for my double bed thinking it would come up small and found it hangs over the sides by a couple of inches so it definitely is for a king size width). The control is sturdy and easy to use. It is also at the head end which is handy and does not encroach on the area of my pillows. The first night I put the blanket on the mattress I just had a sheet on top but when lying on it could feel the cable. This is the only down side to the product. I put two thin fleece blankets and a sheet on top and this solved the problem without loss of warmth. I have been using the blanket now for several months and am very pleased with it's performance. I put it on 20 minutes before going to bed and it is lovely and warm. I have used the setting which allows it to remain on all night and am amazed. On this setting it is a constant gentle warmth which feels very low and I thought would not be warm enough but amazingly it is. I have found I normally have to turn it off in the night as I am too warm! I would definitely buy this product again.

This is an OK electric blanket. However, we purchased the double and it is too short. I can either have warm feet and cold shoulders or warm shoulders and cold feet. It needs to be at least another 20cm longer. In the area that does heat up, it gets nice and warm on the high heat setting. On the lowest setting it hardly does anything. When I switch the blanket on, I place our pillows on top of our duvet in the area that we sleep which helps trap in the heat.

Very soft, warms up pretty quick and gets very warm. Lost a star as I don’t think the heat is very evenly distributed around the blanket.

Exactly like the quality sold in South Africa. 3 heating setting and warms up very fast.

The blanket did NOT heat as promoted. Kept it in the electricity for half an hour and did not work as expected.

Takes forever 5B warm up and $ones not get that warm

Took an hour to heat up and even then it was just Luke warm. Very tiny, didn't go as far as feet area in bed. Sent back.
