I have a muscle disease and unable to stand this board slides easy once you are on it. I do need assistance with the board.

Flimsy construction, the disk wobbles and the user slides off the disk rather than the disk sliding down the tsck.

I ordered this transfer board as I was having foot surgery and would have to be non weight bearing for 3 months. I was concerned about bathing, toileting and getting into the car for follow up doctor appointments. It is excellent quality and my thoughts were it was just what I needed. However when I started rehab and attempted to transfer to and from my car I was fearful about the disk slide. I felt unsteady and feared I was going to fall. For me personally I felt it was not safe. I returned it to Amazon.

I got this transfer board as we help with my grandmother and it seemed very nice compared to the existing board we have due to the sliding mechanism. The board itself it very long, which is good and bad, but mainly it means we have to keep her further away from the bed using the board, which seems like a strange design. The sliding disc is kind of nice, but you need to pay attention more when using it. Maybe it would be more apparent the benefit if you are transferring someone heavier, though. Overall, it seems nice and quality, but being so long is kind of a down side for us.

The round slide doesn't work well. It was difficult to transfer my legless brother, as it would stick and not move.

Up hill very hard but down hill it is great. It is a bit heavy but it does have to be. Packed great came on-time.
