Seeing is believing. I feel in love with it, right out the box. It is HUGE in a good way. I love the versatility of it laying flat and wide for grilling or actually working to press sandwiches. It heavy but lightweight at the same time (if that makes sense). Not bulky, portable and works like a charm. Excluding how well it cooks, one of my favorite features is how it drains the fat completely off the grill and drips it into a cup (included). It heats quickly and evenly as well. No instructions needed. Just turn it own and it is really self explanatory and lets not forget, ZERO messy cleanup because of the nonstick surface. I am beyond pleased.

This is bigger than I expected. You can easily fit two full size sandwiches on it.The quality is good for the sub 50 price, if the plates were removable this would be a five star product.Heats quickly and pretty evenly. The hinge accommodates thick sandwiches.Controls are intuitive enough for a teenager to use without a zillion questions.You can have it lay flat, but since the plates are grooved it limits the uses (no pancakes for example on it)

This Homcom panini press works great. It’s small and lightweight so it’s easily moved for convenience, and small enough to be stored in a cabinet or pantry. It opens flat making a nice big area to grill meats and vegetables. Heats quickly and the floating hinge works great for making paninis. Would be a great gift for the college student or anyone without access to a kitchen.

This product is light weight compared to those prehistoric ones from a long time ago. It was simple to use and easy to clean. I made grill cheese sandwiches to first test it out and they were delicious.. Great product.

The parts are not disassembled and difficult to clean.
