I am thrilled with this purchased and managed to achieve the look that I wanted because I didn't want any table lamps on my nightstands taking up too much room. It way cheaper to purchase the lamp cords here on Amazon and buy 2 small metal wastebaskets ($10.00 each at Wal-Mart) for a total cost it would have been for 1 lamp cord with lampshade; so I was able to make 2 lamps for the price of one. The positives are that it have a on/off switch that is also a dimmer ❤️️ and the cord is really thick and well made ❤️️❤️️. The screw that is used to secure the lampshade to the bulb base is slimmer but made of really thick plastic. The only con is that the on/off/dimmer switch is closer to the end of the cable where you plug cable into an electrical socket. My remedy to this was to use an extension cord that is hidden behind my bed and plugged both lamp cords into it and then pulled the on/off/dimmer switch thru each end of the wrought iron decor on my headboard and now both switches are right within reach. The hardest part was cutting the circle out in the metal baskets after I'd traced around the bulb end of this light kit and sanding them smooth. So far, I am NOT disappointed with this purchase and other family members want to try this too after seeing what I had done.

Okay it's just a lamp cord, but I was surprised how nice these are. The cable is thick and heavy with good fabric and a chunky rubber plug, and the socket looks like classic Bakelite. The dimmer switch has a vintage feel too, though it's clearly modern. Even the plastic bag they came packed in felt soft and premium like something Apple would use. If you're a kinesthetic person you will be very happy with these! I paired them with true incandescent Edison bulbs and the dimmer works super smooth, from barely lit to full power. Great product.

These lights work really well for me. The dimmable option and the long cords are what sold me. I also like that they're so customizable.The Edison bulbs were purchased separately and they pair well together.

These are really nice cords. I do wish the dimmer switch was a bit higher on the cord but they look nice, hang nice & I love the dimmer switch. I bought some wire cages at Home Depot for $5 & they look nice. The black ring at the top of socket screw off which was good in my case, otherwise the cages wouldn't have worked. But should the need arise & I must have even more hanging lights I wouldn't hesitate to order these again.

I bought this, actually I bought the second hand one to save a few bucks. Those few bucks I saved went into buying the cages for the lamps which I got for about 4 bucks each. They were easy to install but I had to use my own screw in things to hang the lamps. I HAD to buy new bulbs but I personally like these better. Not a bad deal. I still wish some manufacturers sold lamp shades or cones at decent prices. For the price of one shade I can get 2 sometimes 3 new lights WITH the same shade. Thankfully the cage was all I could afford ATM but this made me happy.

I love these lights! Quality product and work great! Love the dimming ability which is needed with the Edison bulbs which can be a bit too bright.

This package included 2 hanging lights and was definitely a BARGAIN$! Aesthetically, these have a genuine vintage look and were exactly as described. The cord length worked excellent for my needs and even left an extra got. Highly recommend these lights++++
