It WORKS!
-EDIT-It has been ALMOST a year now -haha- and I began to see tiny mold marks on my bathroom ceiling. I didn't touch up after that use so perhaps had I done that, maybe they would not have appeared. Still, two little spots compared to a whole ceiling and walls with mold, I'd say this was a win. Also my walls are made of concrete. They're not made of wood so that may be a factor. This thing got rid of the mold that was growing in my bathroom. I hated how my bathroom smelled so I figured mold was growing. I tried bleach, I tried vinegar and it solved the appearance problem for a couple of days but the moldy smell always persisted. I used half of this packet for my bathroom, since the room is small, and it got rid of the appearance and the smell. The product itself had a strange smell but not as unbearable as bleach or vinegar. I didn't have an extreme mold problem but it was in all the walls and the ceiling and the smell was bothering me so I wouldn't know how this works for tougher problems. I also used this in conjunction with the Concrobium Mold Control aerosol since I read that they work great together.

Its a kind of "Eh" product ;-(
So first off, I'm treating mold in my shower tub walls along the edges of a window (yeah old time, in the shower!) and at the corner between the tub and the tile walls. I already applied the Concrobium mold killer which according to some You Tube videos is the best to actually kill the mold. But it does not remove the mold stain. This is supposed to do that. On the positive side, it did lighten the stains more than anything else that I had already tried (ALL those mold stain removers from the big box stores are just CRAP!). I heard some reports that Bleach can do decently, but it will not kill the mold embedded into the material its growing on. SO I tried this since its supposed to be THE solution to the mold stains. It only worked so-so. Still had very visible mold stains thereafter. Maybe a second treatment might help. SO its better than anything else, save maybe for bleach (which I have not tried yet). The other aspect of this is that you have to mix this stuff, and darn all YOU NEED TO FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS! No, I mean you need to really READ them and understand them. When you mix this stuff in water as directed, it does not just dissolve into solution as you would expect. It forms a granular sludge on the bottom of your container. That is why they tell you mix it in a "open" container (jug or quart jar or some such). You then after letting it fester for the prescribed time, you need to skim off JUST the liquid, leaving the sludge behind, into your spray bottle. As you might surmise, I went straight to the spray bottle and then the sludge clogged up my strayer tube (that is when I went back and REREAD the directions!). It makes an acrid odor, but not even as bad as slicing onions, but you still probably dont want to breath more of it than necessary. The odor dissipates quickly and was not a problem for me. I might try another bag and see if I get better results. But you might want to first KILL the mold with the concobium killer, and then try straight bleach on it after it dries to see if that takes care of the stain. And if that does not work then give this a try. Like I said it did lighten the stains, but did not give me the maybe overly optimistic total removal I was hoping for.

It works!
Works just like it's advertised. It got rid of stubborn mold on my bathroom ceiling after we replaced the ventilation fan. It never came back after one use!

Worked with a little scrub
After using Mold Control I used Mold Stain Eraser to get rid of the black marks. I don't think it would have worked with just spraying the area. I sprayed and then scrubbed with a long handle brush which worked well. Once that dried we were able to paint the basement walls. For some reason it clogged my sprayer up (hand held bottle) so I just dipped my brush in a small container of the solution and scrubbed the area of the wall with the stain.
