Battery
Both had about 90% charge when received and work fine with my craftsman drill. The price was reasonable.

Great batteries That this item fits most older craftsman drills but be sure to check
I liked that the batteries came partially charged and could be used immediately but it is best to charge them fully firstThey fit my older craftsman drill perfectly and cost per battery was great (ordered 2)Have used them several times and haven’t had to charge them yet

Not sure which is faulty - - batteries or charger. Poor quality.
I have an old Craftsman 1/2 drill that uses the heavy 19v nickel-cadmium batteries. I thought it might be nice to have newer lithium-ion batteries. These power packs and their charger looked as if they could be a reasonably-priced solution. My experience is similar to that of several other purchasers. I can't say which is faulty - - the charger or the batteries - - but the batteries would not charge. The charger would indicate the batteries had a full charge when the battery charge LED indicators showed only 1-2 bars. No additional charge was possible. Also, the power packs went easily into the drill, but were difficult to get out. Considering that faulty lithium batteries can be dangerous, I decided against keeping this set. Not worth the risk.

Battery half dead after 3 cuts, broke my charger
I received an older craftsman 19.2v set from FIL. He had replaced original batteries w/ NiMH, which would not hold a charge, so i took a chance on these. 1 fully charged battery was depleted 50% after 3x 4' cuts through 5/8 OSB. it's a good thing it comes with two! I have two sheets to cut!also, i do have a newer off brand charger that i used to fully charge these prior to use, although they arrive w/ some charge. it's listed for Li-ion and Ni-CD. Be extremely careful inserting these Li-ion batteries, as the first one broke the charging port! i think the blades on the battery are misaligned. when i inserted into the charger, it crushed the female end inside the port. i was able to disassemble the charger to bend the clips back, but that shouldn't have happened.I never would have bought a junky craftsman set, but considering it was free, these batteries at least let me use the tools to tackle some (very) small projects around the house. if i had to use them daily, i would replace the tools altogether to avoid this configuration of battery.on the positive side, these 3.0 ah batteries weight considerably less than the 3.6 ah NiMH. One of those can't even make it through one cut without running out of juice.
