It was super easy to install. I had to shorten a piece of the pvc to make it line up because the pipe that connects to the drain came out like 5 inches further than the old one, but no big deal. It went in exactly the same way the old one came out. I didn't have to replace the drain piece, but since it came with it, I figured why not. The old one was pretty worn out. When I turned it on to test it, I had to look down the drain to see if it was spinning because I could barely hear it. It is considerably more quiet than the old one. All you hear is a little hum. I seriously thought it wasn't turning or it was ceasing. Nope it's just quiet. Well worth the money. It was less than the cheapest one at Lowe's and twice the HP.

You need to change the sink’s flange, otherwise it will leak. The product doesn’t have a good seal with insinkerator flange, so it is not that easy to install. You need to spend more time. It is quite but the water drains really slow. Too early to review durability.

I bought this product in November installed it in December working fine and now it stop working no humming sound just dead and won’t turn.

I planned to take most of the day replacing the busted disposal since I’ve never done it before. Read the instructions in and had it in in less than an hour. All the fittings that came with it fit with the existing plumbing just fine.
