Harringtons Optimum Guinea Pig Food 10kg - Balanced, Wholesome & Tasty

After trying many pellets i was struggling to find a great timothy based pellet that my piggies liked. I always value good quality and unfortunately with the good quality come at least one piggies refusal to eat the food (a problem when i have 8 piggies and cannot afford to feed them all something different for dinner).I had this brand and another suggested to me and i thought why not? I ordered a bag of this half preparing myself to have to call the local rescue to 'donate' a bag of food and instead all of my pigs dived on their food!!! (although the boys like to up end their bowl and eat off the floor). BUT A MASSIVE SUCCESS! We even have popcorning and wheeking at pellet time now which has never happened before.Thank you! Finally a high quality fantastic feed that my pigs all love! (at a very fair price too)

My 3 love this food, they get so excited when it’s feeding time and the bag lasts a good amount of time which has saved me so much money as my local pet shop is quite pricy for the size of their food. Will definitely order again

We are owners of two rather fat guinea pigs and they were very happy when this arrived. It was tough getting it upstairs as it weighs 10 kg but I managed. It smells delicious and it seems that they prefer it over other guinea pig feeds, we have tried the one from Asda, Pets at Home and Wagg, perhaps more but only these come to my mind at the moment. The Wagg one was a disaster as there is muesli as well and they did not even touch that, just picked out a few bits...In the past we have tried the 2 kg pack of this and one thing I noticed is that this big pack's pellets are bigger than in the smaller pack. I am not sure what's the reason of this, maybe new formula? This is my only concern with this but I believe this pack was genuine, I assume they have made the pellets bigger so piggies don't choke on them.If your guinea pigs are picky, you should give this a try, but maybe buy the smaller 2 kg pack first to see if they like it. This huge pack is of great value. This is such a good Guinea pig food and keeps Guinea pigs healthy the only downside is that it’s almost £20 a bag it’d be ok if it was a tenner. That would make me very happy 😃

Fantastic price, my guinea pigs love it!

I only have one Guinea pig. I bought this large bag at the beginning of the pandemic when all piggy cereals had sold out. Amazon to the rescue! PIGGY loves this cereal. Because she is only allowed one small bowl a day it lasts months. No sooner than its puts in the dish than she is knibbling happily. When she has finished she turns the dish over to draw attention to the fact the dish is now empty. I've fed 4 Guinea pigs in succession Harrington's. If you are new to Harringtons Always mix in your old brand with the new brand, gradually increasing the amounts of the new brand to the old you have changed to. That way piggy gets used to new flavours. Piggys go by their sense of smell. Anything new and they get suspicious so you have to be crafty and mix in the old brand with the new.

My guinea pigs really enjoy this food. Very good quality as always and lasts a long time.
