Great Pair of Headphones (Reccomended)
I've been using this for the last 8-9 months and I can tell you that it is definitely worth getting if you're thinking buying your first bluetooth headphones. I bought this with my own money so this is not a biased review. Let's start with the pros of the product. Keep in mind that I have tested the headphones with my smart phone and laptops Pros: Excellent Sound Quality - The headset gives off a nice crisp sound with a very nice depth and bass along with it, One of my friends which is very picky with headphones even approved of how good they sound for the price. Comfort - The headset itself is very comfortable to use, I've used it everyday commuting to and from work/college for the last eight to nine months. The band and the ear pads are made out of this synthetic leather which is very soft, like extremely soft. Simple controls - There are five buttons located on the right side of the headphones, you can use these buttons to pause, play, skip tracks and adjust volume. They also function as shortcuts for like speed dialing etc. Versatility - The headphones have three main input methods; Bluetooth, USB and 3.5mm jack in case you run out of battery. The headphones support bluetooth playback, USB playback (connecting to a pc with a USB cable) and audio jack playback. Bluetooth range - The range on the product is excellent, more than I expected actually. I use them at home when i'm cleaning the sound stays clear even if i'm downstairs and my phone is in my bedroom upstairs. Battery charge is excellent - As mentioned before I use this headphones everyday, I commute 2-3 hours everyday and my headphones last me for a whole week, granted the headphones turns itself off if you disconnect it from your phone. Average battery time from what I noticed is 10-12 hours this is with playing music. Foldable for better storage. Cons: Black Matte Version is a grease magnet (might not bother everyone) The headset being made out plastic sometimes creek when putting on or adjusting. Minor connection issues with windows 10 - can be fixed most of the time by repairing the headphones. Overall the Pros outweigh the cons, get these if you are in the market for bluetooth headphones.

£39 Have they made a mistake, BEST HEADPHONES EVER!!!
These Headphones arrived yesterday and i have to say these are my favourite Headphones of all time!!!!!! I have a pair of Bose OE2 's which are excellent in sound quality and also a pair of Beats Solo HD's which i find have too much Bass. The August EP650 Bluetooth Headphones meet with these directly in the middle with regards to sound quality with the right amount of Bass and Clarity and are Bluetooth as well which is an absolute doddle to set up and will take all of ten seconds. They are Extremely Comfortable and have no discomfort whatsoever even after wearing them for a few hours or more. The Beats Solo HD's i have are pretty uncomfortable but the Bose OE2's are also very comfortable to wear but these are REALLY COMFORTABLE!!! with no cable wire getting in the way which does get a bit of getting used too in a good way. The Design of these headphones is also a BIG PLUS!!! as the not only sound fantastic but look FANTASTIC!!!. They can go very LOUD!!! as well and are like having two Marshall Amps on your ears they are that powerful!!! They are also rechargeable and have a built in battery and you also get a cable wire in case you need to use it without Bluetooth. The Bluetooth is very solid an runs on Bluetooth 4.0 and the charging is pretty quick and takes around 2 hours for a full charge using the cable supplied and you get a good 12 - 13 Hours of use on these August EP650 Headphones. For Headphones of this quality i would be expecting to pay about the same as my Bose OE2's or Beats by Dr Dre of a price about £160 but unbelievably and to my total amazement they are £39 and and that is another BIG PLUS POINT!!! If you are thinking of getting some decent quality Headphones that are just as good as Bose or Dr Dre Beats then you have to get these as they are BRILLIANT!!!! and for £39 I still cannot get over the price!!!. Without doubt these are the Best Headphones EVER!!!

Very good, and with a different audio cable, even better!
I have generally used ear buds rather than full headphones but decided to give a pair of headphones a try. I have only had these a day but they feel comfortable to wear and the sound is good. I'm no audio professional and I'm sure if you pay more then you will get better sound, but for me they sound great. I can understand what some reviewers comment on about them being perhaps a little bass heavy but generally I am pleased with them. Of course if your music player has an equalizer you can perhaps adjust this a little. Unfortunately on my Lumia Windows Phone with WP8.1, the equalizer is available only when connected with the cable and not when using bluetooth. Pairing of these to my mobile phone using nfc was a doddle, once I'd found the bit in the instruction booklet of how to put them into pairing mode. Bluetooth range from my phone allowed me to get about two rooms away at home before the signal broke up, so that wasn't too bad. I would have liked it if these also allowed the same controls (play/pause/next/prev/call/volume/mic) when using them wired as they do on bluetooth. I'm one of these people who are concerned at possible health effects of having bt transmissions right next to my head for extended periods so generally will use them wired but like to have the option when a wire is inconvenient. They also allow connection to a pc using USB as an alternative (cable also supplied) to the standard 3.5inch jack audio jack, so this has a bonus in using them at work as they will continue to charge whilst in use. I particularly like the fact that the standard audio jack is removable, because the common failing in headphones is the jack, so being able to replace the cable is a big advantage for me. (And as you will see if you read to the end, this had an even bigger advantage) So all in all I'm pleased. Comfortable. They look to be good quality (and I'll update my review if they suddenly break). Back to my one little criticism, and I think this applies equally to other wired/wireless headphones. Why not allow controls to work when using the 3.5 inch audio jack? Well, I can understand that the electronics are different but its not rocket science to simply duplicate the controls in-line on the 3.5 inch cable is it? And that particular thought got me thinking... the cable is replaceable so if somebody else supplies such a thing then I wonder if that would work... and a quick look on Amazon revealed what I was looking for: KetDirect 1.2m(3.9ft) audio 3.5mm AUX Replacement Headphone/Headset Audio Cable with In-Line Remote Microphone Volume Control for Apple iphone Android Samsung For just under £10, I got it delivered on prime next day and I am pleased to say that using this in place of the supplied audio cable now gives me volume control along with play/pause/next/prev/call/volume/mic just like I get on bluetooth, but by using the controls on the cable, and this is working fine on my Lumia 1020 with Windows Phone 8.1. As a bonus, that also means I can now use the graphic equalizer on the mobile, so happy days!

Incredible sound, incredible value for money.
After these headphones arrived I was amazed at the value for money I was getting. These things are very well built and nice to the touch. They're very very comfy to wear as well. Here's what really matters, function. Since these are bluetooth headphones you'd hope the battery will last. Well I spent a solid 6 hours listening to music on these and they didn't show any sign the battery was running low, which is great in my eyes. These headphones can go from wireless to wired as you need which is good if your using a computer without bluetooth. One word of advice though, when wired to your PC these headphones get unbelievably loud, seriously my PC's volume is set to 30% and that's booming, which gives me what I need for my taste in heavy metal. Go much higher and you can feel the headphones shake! Whats the sound quality actually like then? Well... It sort of reminds me of dre beats phones, the bass is strong and thick and at times a little overpowering. For most music however this isn't too bad, I find they deliver a strong, thick sound making even lower quality mp3's sound better than you'd think. I love these phones. One of the better points in terms of value for money are; the headphones can go from wireless to wired as you need, they come with a double sided headphone jack. They have a built in rechargeable battery, no need to keep swapping AAA's out of these things. The best part is they come with an inbuilt microphone you can't see. Lets say you do what I do, all your music is played from your phone, which you've left in the next room, and then someone calls you. Just press the play pause button and you can answer the call right there without having to run to your phone. You'll also hear text notifications or anything else your phone is set to alert you about. This is great for me as I've always gotten so sick of trying to enjoy my music and missing a phone call in the process... For £32.00 this product is a steal in my eyes. I'd never heard of August before now. You'll find that with audio companies though, the less you know about them, the better value their products are, buy these and you can laugh at anyone who bought Dre beats.

Incredible headphones!
So there I was, bored on the internet and looking for some item to waste my money on. I'm glad I have moments like those else I wouldn't have stumbled across these beasts. Delivery and Packaging: Amazon Prime and DPD delivered the package the day after placing my order, as promised. If it was that other courier Amazon sometimes use (cough cough, Parcel Force, cough cough), I doubt it would've arrived in 24 hours. The headphones themselves come in a black box, with information regarding the product and a pretty picture. Nothing special here, its very simplistic. Headphone Looks/Comfort: Although this is down to personal opinion, I think these headphones look very stylish. They look very modern and in fact, they look more expensive than they are. You soon learn that August thankfully spent more time and money on the things that matter, not the box they come in. To accompany the easy look on the eyes, they are an easy fit on the head and ears. These headphones are seriously comfortable. They can be worn for long periods of time without any annoying aches or pain, unless of course you wack the volume up... I'll talk about that later on. The headphones are adjustable so will be able to fit various head shapes and sizes. The headphones also fold in nicely, ideal when they need putting in a bag! Headphone Connectivity: I switched on the bluetooth of my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and switched on the headphones, within seconds they were paired and ready to go. Even I wasn't expecting it to be that easy. The bluetooth provides a strong and stable connection. If you haven't got a bluetooth device then don't worry, in the box comes an AUX cable which you connect to the socket on the headphones. The battery lasts ages, 8-10 hours at loud volumes and then charges nice and quickly via the supplied USB cable. On the side of the headphones there are a selection of buttons, all laid out nicely. In the middle you'll find the play/pause button, top left is volume down, top right is volume up, bottom left is previous track, bottom right is next track. When on a bluetooth connection you can use these buttons to control your device remotely. This works incredibly well at the gym when I can't be bothered to bend over and fiddle with my phone. They also don't fall off your head whilst working out, this means that the quest for gainz won't be interrupted. Headphone Sound Quality: I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting much. A company I've never heard of, sharing the same name with a month, along with a cheap looking website. The only thing that made me bite was the number of good reviews here on Amazon. The time has now come were I'd like to take a brief moment to thank those customers that review products, without you I wouldn't be sat here typing this review with my head filled with high crisp notes followed by the deepest booming bass I've ever heard! These headphones have blown me away. They are slightly bass heavy so not ideal if listening to spoken audio but for everything else they are superb. I like my music loud and oh boy do these headphones deliver the volume!! No horrid distortion either. Just play David Guetta ft Sia - She Wolf with the device volume maxed out and the headphone volume maxed out, your eardrums along with your whole head and face will be begging for mercy. If you find the bass overwhelming you can always use an EQ to balance it to your needs. Isn't technology wonderful? Overall: I paid £28 for these headphones, I got a bargain if they pass the test of time. They come with 1 year warranty as standard so if anything should happen you're covered. They appear to be well made though so hopefully they'll last a few years. If I knew what these headphones were like I would've payed more. I'd definitely recommend them!

Good for the price, but not great.
First of all, these headphones are NOT 'great' unlike what most people here are saying in their reviews. These headphones are NOT like any 100+ dollar headphones, it is NOT better than what you are paying for it. Am I being incredibly overly pessimistic? No. Am I being realistic? Yes. I will quickly tell you why. Let's start with the most important thing about headphones: the sound quality. It is not great, actually it's very far from being great. Every single sound it produces sounds (highly) muffled: high range tones, mid range tones and even the low range tones sound as if there's a piece of cloth between your ears and the headphones. Now, most people wouldn't notice the bad sound quality as most people are used to listen to low quality music and using low quality speakers or headphones, and therefore they cannot distinguish the difference since they have never heard anything better before (I'm not looking down on anyone btw, I'm just stating a fact). In most people's eyes a noticeable bass is all that is needed, and this headphone definitely delivers that. If you are a fan of music that has a lot of bass in it, then these headphones will probably do the trick for you. If you don't want a dramatic amount of bass that totally dominates every other single sound (because lower frequencies pretty much crush the higher frequencies), then DO NOT buy these. You would regret it for sure. Bluetooth connectivity: Overall the bluetooth connection is okay and is fast to set up, but sometimes you might lose the connection and you have to reconnect the headphones to your device again, but this is just a minor problem. The main reason why I find the connection to be just 'okay', is because I often get some kind of background noise while listening to music which is incredibly annoying. Some might think that I'm really nitpicking right now, but no. The sound can be really really REALLY annoying. Anyway, you don't hear it all the time. It appears that the sound is not there when the battery is full or almost empty, but I can't say for sure if there really is a pattern or if it's just a random occurence. For example, I'm listening to music right now and the noise is not there. Design & Build: Pretty slick and solid for such a cheap device. Even though I don't expect it to last for a very long time, I do think that it will manage for two years or so. Anyway, only time will tell. Comfortablity: Comfortable to wear, only hurts slightly after having it on for a few hours. Battery: Last somewhere between 7-11 hours depending on how loud you put the volume (obviously). For most people it should last for around 10 hours. Background noise cancellation: It only has passive noise cancellation (basically meaning that you hear less background noise because you put something on your ears), but you don't hear any background noise when you're listening to music if the volume is high enough, which should be pretty much all of the time. Other people can easily hear what you are listening to though, so if you don't want to disturb other people then turning up the volume might not be the way to go (or getting these headphones for that matter). All in all I am still going to give it three stars out of five, because it are really cheap headphones and it's worth the money that you have to pay for it. The problems that come with it are kind of to be expected, but I would say that there's only one real problem and that's the annoying noise. Also I just want to say one last thing: seriously bare in mind with what I have just said, because I'm not nitpicking or hating on the product, I just wanted to make u aware of the experience that you WILL have in case you decide to buy these headphones.

Previously I had a Sony wired pair from the Sony shop in NY from circa 1998 that cost me $100 and was happy with for clarity but
To be honest I shopped around a lot for bluetooth headphones and was very hesitant as to which to go for. I read reviews and feedback and made a judgement to try these at the modest pricepoint they were. Previously I had a Sony wired pair from the Sony shop in NY from circa 1998 that cost me $100 and was happy with for clarity but lacked a little oomph. Normally I'm a brand junkie so wouldn't go for an unknown but friends assured me there was a lot of 'good stuff' in the electronics world so give a try. I wanted Bluetooth - these are, the set up was as explained and incredibly simple from my iPhone 5 and iPad 2. The range is perfect at 5 metres (as far as I've tried) and weird if you're not used to wireless headphones! I wanted them to fold - these do, although understandably not too small as they are a good size. I wanted over ear - these are, my ears don't work with those that fit inside. My family assure me that there's no leakage of sound and external noises are minimal (I walk alongside traffic to work). They're comfy and the foam padding all the way around is comfortable and I wear them for up to an hour at a time on my commute. They're not too heavy considering the size. I wanted the microphone capability - these suit and the call answering is a simple one touch of the left earphone to accept the call. I wanted simplicity - left ear has large on/off and play button surrounded by volume and forward/reverse to operate your song selection (safely hidden away on my phone in my bag). I wanted a good sound - having worked in the music industry a large part of my life, I enjoy a wide breadth of musical styles. I was realistic at a pair of sub £50 headphones but I am very pleasantly surprised. They have plenty of oomph and the bass sounds are well catered for. If you are fussy like me, you need to use your EQ function on your device to get the setting right for you as the mid range can otherwise appear a little muddy - the EQ will sort this out, not all music is produced equally! I wanted a simple design - they're spot on (for me) over ear headphones are sizeable, they're all black and modest in size with a slow pulsing blue neon glow around the play button to show they're connected when on, they don't shout 'look at me' so look elsewhere if it's exhibitionism you're looking for! I want life to be easy - Charging is via a USB that I plug into my keyboard at work and I top up regularly but even when I forget and have used them for hours the display on my iPhone informs me that they still have oodles of charge left in them. So overall, worth every penny and with a bit of tweaking with the EQ to personalise to your own listening style / pleasure you can grab yourslelf a non-branded bargain.

My personal experience with the August EP650 Wireless/Bluetooth headphones.
Pro's: I do have to say that the quality of the sound is much more amazing than I expected. To be honest, it blew my mind on how good they are, how easy you can set them up and it simply works flawlessly. The buttons for play, volume up/down, next/previous song are easy to manage and after 2-3 tries, you get the hang of it pretty fast. The noise cancellation is extremely good, I put them on at max volume, on a friends head, and considering the crowded spaces/noises from cars, I could hear a very faint sound coming from them. Granted, if I was in a place where there is no outside noise (home room/studio) I was able to hear them, but not as loud as the other person. Another good thing is that, they say it lasts 10 hours, but I tried to test them out, to see how long they would hold and my phone battery would be the one to die first. So I tested them over the weekend while charging my phone, and I got to 16 hours... and I couldn't stay up anymore, had to go to work the next day. Also the foam is very comfortable, both at the top and around the ears, they feel pretty good as with this square shape they surround my entire ear and I never felt uncomfortable. Con's: The speakers (the squared shaped thingies), are a little bit wobbly, as they can be moved from left/right up/down, diagonally. I can only assume that they meant for this to be a "feature" and allow people to move their head freely, whilst still preserving amazing quality and performance. The downside is that I prefer a more "sturdy" build, but this is totally personal, because you might actually enjoy it. The other issue I have with them is that the cable provided for charging, can't be also used for data transfer from your phone to the PC, it simply is for charging and that's basically the end of it. Considering we are talking about Bluetooth headphones, they are amazing, however if you put your phone in your pocket, and if you are a fat guy (like me 140 kg, 1.87m), and you place your hand in your pocket (where your phone is), it will start to interfere with the Bluetooth connection and time out for half a second until you remove your hand from your pocket. Taking into consideration the Pro's and the Con's as well as the amazingly low price in my opinion they deserve a 5/5.

Pure sound with amazing quality.
I bought these headphones so I could listen to TV at my preferred louder volume than my wife who can hear me removing the top off a XXXX at 50 paces. They were the cheapest on the market I could find with aptX which syncs the TV and what you hear perfectly. Easy to connect and seem to be quality built. My only gripe is my ear only just fits inside the phones - older blokes like me high side of 70 need that extra size...maybe just another 5mm or so would do, so I need to wiggle them on the make a positive seal. (ears and nose are only body parts to grow in old age...damn!) Bottom line is I'm very happy with them.
