Provanto ultimate bug killer is reasonably effective against many greenhouse bugs including capsids, aphids, mealy bugs and thrips. It reduces, but does not seem to eliminate persistant woolly aphid though. effective, but rather expensive compared with the previous products which required dilution with water.

My friend recommended this product when I told her I was fed up with my double lily plants being eaten by red beetles, they just feasted on the leaves until there wasn't much left. After the first spray on my new plants that already had holes in the leaves and red beetles, there was nothing, not a beetle in sight. The instructions said it could last up to 14 days before needing another spray, however on day 14 there was a red beetle, so I now spray on day 13 and there are no holes in my lily leaves and they are about to flower, they are beautifully healthy. I've used the whole bottle now as I have 4 pots of lilies and just ordered and received 2 more bottles. If you love lilies then you need this in your cupboard it really works.!!

I use this on my Lillie's to kill lilly beatles ......I use it once a week until the flowers die off.

Zero effect on thrips - website says it does, bottle doesn’t mention it. I sprayed them from 20mm away and the next day they were still roaming around

Over a few years I’ve used multiple bottles of this spray up to now on my houseplants and I can’t fault it. I bought it a couple of years ago initially when I first found some of my plants were infested with fungus gnats and this killed them instantly. Repurchased again this month because of the same exact issue and it’s worked just as well as before- with a couple of plants needing repeat treatments just when the new larvae hatch. Based on a YouTube video I watched with someone recommending this, I have also tried using this spray on mealybugs, despite no claims on the bottle itself that it would help with these bugs and I can confirm that it did absolutely nothing for these- so I wouldn’t waste your time on this if you’re having trouble with those. I have never had an issue where this spray has damaged a plant and I’ve always been impressed with how easy it is to use.
