Love this gelli plate, prints lovely and smooth, very good quality.

I’m new to gel printing. I am very disappointed with this product. I have used it with acrylic paint, the two main problems have been, the paper sticking to the plate - it didn’t matter what weight of paper I used and it was impossible to clean the plate of paint afterwards, I tried everything suggested on the net. I ended up using nail polish remover and my nails, not good.If this plate is not suitable for acrylics, perhaps a warning or how to use with acrylic should be on the packet.Since I wrote this I have had very nice reply from Speedball re my query about this gel plate. Apparently this plate is not suitable for acrylics unless It has a longer drying time. They are specifically made for use with printmaking ink. Has a complete novice, it would have been good to know.I have upped my review because the did get back to for which I am very grateful. I thought it was me, doing it all wrong.

Use this regularly it's a good gel plate.

Very poor quality. Could not clean off the paint residue.

have used but not impressed with it at moment as inks dont work on it like my other gell plates so have had to buy another brand may be this is just good for acrillics
