Impressive quality and overall value for money
The quality of the equipment is great for the price and there are three bars included in the set so there is no requirement to convert bars mid session. several weights are included allowing me to have all three set up at once and left in the gym area.Other positives:Flat on bottom of weights for placing on the ground (don't roll).Vinyl is great quality and the weights look attractive.fast shipping.Bars are well gripped.Negatives:The general size is large as compared with cast iron weights as they use sand.Price to performance means that they are a great deal and well worth buying.

Excellent budget weights
I've had these for a long time and they were definitely worth buying. Granted, I didn't use them much after the first month or so (due to losing interest) but I recently got into fitness in a big way and they are getting fair use, for sure. The only reason I didn't give these five stars, is that one of the threads on the 5ft bar is really stiff no matter which spinlock I use. So it's a bit annoying to change weights. But luckily, having just increased it, I won't have to do it again for a while. Other than that, fantastic weights for a moderate price.

Next day delivery! Great weights for a beginner - intermediate.
Delivery: Arrived in under 24 hours... I live in a small town in the Devon countryside. I don't think they have the warehouse in this town but it sure felt like they do!Weights: These are perfect for a beginner with weights at home like me. The weights themselves are solid and feel like they will last. They have three hand holds on each which is nice. I found these useful for doing some shoulder exercises with lighter weights without me having to swap over the weights on the bars. The spin-lock stays tight for 2-3 sets most of the time but will need tightening occasionally, especially if they are placed on the floor in between sets. But that is pretty normal for plastic spin-lock weights. The 5kg weights are a bit to big to use on the dumbbells but again that is expected with none cast iron weights and at 6ft2 I manage even with the 5kg on. I can do any exercise with them, you just find yourself having to pay attention more because of the size when using the dumbbells. Which is fine for a first set of weights and you can always leave the 5kg's off the dumbbells and they become manageable and leave enough weight to make the large bar a challenge (for me at least!).I would advise anyone getting this set to also acquire a bench as a must have, preferably with the addition of a squat and/or bench press stand. I personally am planing on getting a 40kg cast iron dumbbell set in a few months time. Purely because these can be a little awkward to use with the 5kg weights on the dumbbells as they are so large, but its a great start for beginners and you can get a descent weight even using the smaller 1.25kg and 2.5kg weights leaving more than enough for the large bar. Also this will allow me to add more weight to the bar as my strength increases over time. I would imagine with the addition of a new dumbbell set these weights will last me 1-2 or more years before I need to either upgrade or start hitting the gym and using the heavy duty equipment there. This is a great investment and much cheaper than two years worth of gym fees. With a bench at home you will have no need to use a gym until you need to start using 110lbs+ weights. My only negative is that I waited till I was 32 to start using weights!

Hmm.. Would of been perfect if I received the full package.
They sent me everything other than the large bar. Weight quality is brilliant. Little bars are good. The weight grips are plastic and will easily wear after time so won't tighten as they do when you first get them. They was for my partner as a gift and I can't give them him until I get the bar situation sorted. I do recommend them ngl just make sure they send everything your way otherwise its a disappointment

good starter set of weights
perfect for getting back to the weights, only problem is plastic spinlocks they come undone every time you pick the weights up but easily replaceable with metal ones for a fiver off amazon, overall good weights if it wasn't for the spinlocks id give it 5 stars

Good for a beginner
I think they are perfect for a beginner, but anything more than that I would recommend cast iron weights. These are a bit bulky and you struggle/cant fit more than 3 weights either side of the dumbbell due to how bulky the weights actually are. They also spin on the bar which makes the bolt that holds the weights on unscrew. Also the barbell was bent on delivery, which is probably more of a delivery issue than anything to do with the set itself!

Training hard while, spending a little ...
Value for moneyThe style of the weights are great for those training on a budgetUsing a single weight for any fly variation or even as a replacement as a cheap kettle bellVery happy with the design(Note: No good for weighted barbell/dumbbell rolls but that’s what ab rollers are for)
C**!
Perfect.
Added these to the first set I bought, now I have the perfect set and spare parts.
