Leonardo DiCaprio - The Biography: The Biography

Leonardo DiCaprio is one of my favourite actors, and his films Blood Diamond and Body of Lies are amongst my favourite movies. I ordered this book as I was interested to read more about his life and how he came to be one of the most famous celebrities and actors of his generation. The book is excellent and very informative right from his youth to present day. The book strikes a perfect balance between private and professional sides, with the stories (and interviews) whilst filming some of the bigger films particularly interesting. Leonardo DiCaprio's rise to stardom is perfectly documented in this book, and I highly recommend this.

Item is good but cover has small rip

I bought this book as I love Leonardo Dicaprio! He is my favourite actor by far and in my opinion all his films are fantastic (especially Shutter Island and The Aviator, both which he should have got Oscars for!!) Fantastic book, packed with information about the actor, is very up-to-date.The author Douglas Wight certainly knows his stuff when it comes to Dicaprio!Also packed full of pictures of him, (looking gorgeous as ever!!)Would recommend to anyone who is a Dicaprio fan!! :)

Great book. So far the definitive biography of the actor. The only mature book about the actor that is not aimed at children.

This book is brilliant. I am a massive fan of Leonardo DiCaprio, and I found it interesting to learn more facts about him that I didn't know before. Great book!

My daughter had to choose a book about a famous/celebrity type to write a paper about, we learned that Leonardo was turned down at interviews hundreds of times before getting his first acting job...that alone was a great message for my daughter.....and Leonardo is a very good actor..so worth learning a little about him.
