Good results vs Copic for the price.
A great (and cheaper) alternative to Copic, I use these all the time and Im pleased to say theyre perfectly up to scratch. As a user of both Faber-Castell and Copic products, I can safely say that these stand up well to their more expensive counterparts. They dont last as long as I would like, but then neither do the Copics, quality wise theyre top drawer.India ink is still the king when it comes to colour fast though. All these types of pen are prone to fade over the years, where as, I have india ink art thats still black years later.Buying these as set is a bargain price wise. As I write, the cost of a single XS pen on Amazon is roughly £4 so £6 for a set of 4 pens is a steal.

Two faulty packs, ink NOT waterproof
I bought 2 of these sets. In one of the sets, ink would only come out of some sides of the "M" fineliner's nib but not other sides, so I had to keep turning the pen around to find a side that worked. In the other set, the ink in every pen looked a faded grey rather than black (see photo of calligraphy pen). I used some of the black pens from the first set for drawing. When rubbing out a pencil under-drawing the ink lifted off, leaving a grey ink line rather than a black line. Also, after leaving the ink for about a week the ink still wasn't waterproof. I wouldn't even call it water resistant - it dissolved very quickly after I brushed a damp water brush over it (see photo). Very, very poor.

Good value, not necessarily accurate colours
I've bought three sets now, but can only write one review, so I've attached photos of each one I have and the colours inside.-------------This review refers to the "Shonen" brush pen set.Usually one pen goes for about £3, so this selection is good value. It has a nice mix of colours-to me it feels like a sort of autumn/sunset theme. The colours in the set are:-Cold Grey IV 233-Nougat 178-Sanguine 188-Deep Red-Scarlet Red 118-Dark Chrome Yellow 109This is different to the product description on other websites-the colours I got match the ones shown in product photos, so it must be the description of a different set, so be careful. They're lovely pens to use, very strong vivid colours where appropriate (like yellow) and completely waterproof once dry, though they can smear/discolour if you go over black or darker colours. The brush tip can be a bit difficult to make thin lines with, but it's not really an appropriate nib for that in the first place. If you're careful it will keep its shape for a long time. They lose a star because: I already had a deep red, and compared it to the one I got in this pack. There was quite a noticeable difference in colour between the two, though I forgot to take a photo-so be careful and test your colours before using, especially if finishing off something!

The pen styles are brilliant, but the shades are really similar to each other.
I bought this and unfortunately returned it. I have always been a fan on faber castell brush pens but this shade range was a big shame.PROS:Brush is great for shading. The brush is very delicate.CONSThe shades are awful in the pack I purchased, in my original set the shades of grey varied so much that you could tell a gradual gradient going on when applied next to each other. I could only use one grey, being the lightest here, for any shading purposes because all the other ones were equally dark!Overall: 2/5. Not that good. The brush pens are excellent themselves, I think the price is worth it for their quality, however the shade range I picked was really awful, I think anyone would be disappointed with the amount of dark shades you get in it.

Very rich deep blacks
These arrived today. I have run out of so many it's ridonkulous! These looked good so bought some to try!Immediately I fell in love with these pens. 4 different tip sizes for different needs.I use mainly as outliners. I think they work fantastically. Now if I could get these in colours with a rich tone I'd be ecstatic. My black n whites need colour.I definitely recommend these from beginner to professional, they would easily suit both!Very reasonable price point.Providing it stays reasonable I'll be back often for more!A++++++++

Good product good price
A really great product i would definitely recommend to beginners and more advanced artists. I have used these pens for drawing (people, cartoons, plants) and calligraphy. They have a very rich colour and a good range of nib widths making my job easier. So far has not smudged or run with a few water drops. The only down side is i like using a mix of pen and pencils, when using a rubber on the pencils I found this faded the pen.

Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pens.
I've had these for a while and tend to use them quite sparingly, but they are really convenient – much less fuss and bother than traditional dip-pens when using for fine-art projects. They are good for small-scale sketching and combining with watercolour, etc., and with broader marker pens; versatile all-rounder drawing tools.I've found them reliable and therefore recommendable – quite well-priced for a pack of 4 different sizes.

Perfect for bullet journaling!
I use these pens for bullet journaling and drawing, and no matter how many other brands I try, I always come back to these. They last for a long time, the tips are solid but have just enough give that you can experiment with the lines. The line thicknesses are perfect for my use, I use the F most of all, but there have been situations where each of them has been the right choice. Another bonus is that the link rarely bleeds through the paper, even on quite thin sheets. The pack is sturdy and I've kept them in it for as long as I've had them. This is my third pack, and I don't think it will be my last.
