These are absolutely brilliant! I painfully split my thumb nail from part way down, while doing housework yesterday. These arrived today and are so easy to use, creating a smooth, shiny, protective layer, I'm no longer catching it on everything. I'll be using them for a few weeks - for sure - as the nail grows. So impressed by the simplicity of the design and their durability.

I’m a low-maintenance girl for the most part, but one thing I genuinely enjoy is my monthly trip to the nail salon. It’s my little ritual of self-care. Sadly, between visits, disaster struck — I caught my nail in a door and it cracked. Now, let me be clear: my pain threshold is laughably low. The mere idea of losing a nail and exposing that raw fingertip skin sends me into a mild panic. Honestly, it terrifies me almost as much as childbirth. My first instinct was to wrap the finger with a plaster — but alas, I am not a lady of leisure. Between dishes, typing, wrangling life and limbs, the plaster didn't stand a chance. I was constantly reapplying it. There had to be a better way, so off I went to my old faithful, Amazon Prime. There were quite a few options for nail repair, but most looked fiddly — and I am no nail technician. So I settled on these little stickers: 32x Nail Save Patches. Sounded simple enough. Spoiler: they were not as easy as advertised. I tried to peel one off using my nails — but it stuck to the wrong nail (of course). After a few muttered expletives and some minor wrestling, I recruited my trusty tweezers. Then the patch stuck to the tweezers. More expletives. Eventually, my husband was called in to assist. As I applied the sticker, he held it in place while I delicately extracted the tweezers. It was like performing surgery on a Barbie doll. Teamwork makes the dream work, right? The instructions said to apply a lacquer over the top. I don’t know what a lacquer is (maybe I missed a memo from the Nail Technician Academy), so I used some clear top coat instead. Big mistake. The edges curled, the sticker bubbled, and it ended up looking like a lumpy bandaid on a very sad finger. Off came the polish, and I gave the patch a go solo. It stuck reasonably well and held the nail together — for a little while. But like the plasters, it needed regular replacing. Eventually, I gave up and reached for the superglue. One dab, and boom — nail sealed, no fuss, no curl. Yes, probably not salon-approved, but it worked. Final verdict: These patches are okay for a quick, temporary fix if you’re patient, coordinated, or have a helpful husband. The quality is decent, but not salon-level. They offer minimal stability, and they’re not great for long-term wear. Honestly, a drop of superglue was faster, cheaper, and less stressful.

Amazing wee set, absolutely saved my nail and much easier to use than faffing with nail silks, only criticism would be lack of bigger sizes as majority are tiny.

These have saved me from having so much pain. I over buffed my nails trying to get BIAB off that was poorly applied. This caused my nail to split down the nail bed which was very painful. I tried using plasters and nail varnishes to protect the nail but with no luck. I kept thinking a nail sticker would be great and by luck I found these. I applied two or three of these at the time to give more sturdiness and structure to the nail. I have been using these for several weeks. I am on my second packet of these. My nail has nearly grown out with only a small left ti grow. If I never used these I believe my nail would be more damaged and the split nail would have been snagged on my clothes or fabric etc by using of my hands. I recommend these nail patches. Super sticky. I can get a few days out of an application of 2/3 layered patches.

Not good. It says 'easy peel & stick' & 'instant manicure'. Nothing easy or instant about it. Really difficult to access the patches as the peel off backing paper is so thin and cheap each time you try & peel it off you peel off one thin layer revealing multiple thin layers still covering the patches. Even if you try to soak the backing paper off it seems to turn I to a plastic that won't budge even if you scrape it. You can try to cut the patches out but again still really hard to get them out without mutilating them. Takes ages -40 mins to get out one patch that by the time you get it out it's mangled.

Absolutely fantastic item. My nails are so brittle with the menopause that they continually split. My thumb nail had fully broken halfway down. Popped one off these on it and it’s not only stopped it going any further but also helped with the pain You do need to replace them if you’ve had your hands it hot water but plenty in the pack to replace.

I have a nail that is always split. I am always putting nail glue on it and keep it very short. I cut a piece of one of these and stuck it over the split with nail glue. It hides the split completely, has stayed on all day, and has a nice shiny finish.

Good idea, but not working. I tried similar type of products before and they did not work either. These patches are smaller than expected, fiddly and tricky to apply. I applied as instructed. The nail varnish on top softened the patch and made it lift up. Once dried, the patches do not stay on for long, and certainly do not last up to three days, (as advertised) even if you are super careful. I tried to use a patch on my vertical nail split several times. For me, each patch lasted for about 3 hours or so. They are expensive and, in my opinion, are a waste of money. If you are dealing with a persistent vertical nail split, I would recommend keeping your nails short, applying OPI Repair nail serum and then hydrating your nails as often as possible with nail oil (jojoba is supposed to be good), followed by a good hydrating cream (I suggest any containing urea), in conjunction with a good nail strengthener. (I find Manicurist SOS base to be brilliant, and I've tried many). I am aware that this advice goes beyond the scope of a product review, however, since so many people deal with the same issue I just wanted to share this. Hope it helps.

Thick, but once you put them on, you can't feel them at all. They are strong and work great for growing out a break that occurs too far down (which is what happens to me All. The. Time.) They stay on well, as long as you place them correctly. Sometimes I'll get one too close to my skin, and that will cause it to peel off, but proper placement solves that problem. My only wish is that I could buy them by size rather than having a variety of sizes in the packages. I would buy all medium and small. For me, that larges are just too large. They are a great value in my opinion and I'll buy these again.

Dopo un anno di semipermanente ho le unghie distrutte, sottilissime e che si spezzano in più punti anche con tagli verticali dolorosi. Gli adesivi al momento stanno facendo esattamente quello di cui avevo bisogno: proteggono l'unghia impedendole di rompersi di più. Sono di diverse misure, trasparenti, bisogna premere bene sull'unghia per farli aderire e quasi non si vedono, una volta applicati si possono anche regolare con le forbicine. Restano ben adesi anche dopo vari lavaggi di mani e hanno brillantemente superato il test doccia. Sono un po' costosi ma valgono quello che costano.

Ich hatte einen Längsriss im Fingernagel und konnte mit den Klebepads verhindern, dass der Riss tiefer ging. Hat sehr gut gehalten, lässt sich aber auch ganz leicht ablösen.
