DP1569 Fruit Picking Basket - Darlac Expert Tree Pruning Range

Just in time
I received this just in time to use it before we had a gale that blew too many apples off the tree. Fortunately, I had used it to pick many of the highest up apples the day before. It works quite well although fiddley to get through some of the twiggier branches. I had hoped there would be some sort of cord attached that would make it easier to pull individual apples. As it is, I had to anchor the apple in the claw like hooks, then pull & twist to remove the apple. This resulted in a good shake of the branch & other apples falling to the ground. Nevertheless, a handy tool. Not sure how it would work on smaller or softer fruit like plums.

Works well but pull not push!
Purchase used for picking pears. It was not clear to me whether I had to push or press the pivot button to alter the angle of the basket. On calling the manufacturers I received quick & helpful instructions - the button has to be pulled and not pushed!

Easy and practical tool
Used to pick pears and apples. Very good results although picking apples was easier than pears

Great fruit picker
An excellent product teamed with the Darlac telescopic pole. Great for fruit picking without ladders

Wouldn’t fit together.
The Darla fruit picker did not fit the Darlac extending pole. Both items were as described individually but did not match and could not be satisfactorily be attached one to the other.
