ROCKY Men's Camouflage Waterproof Side-zip Snake Boots

I have had these before and I’ll be buying them again when it’s time for new ones. I have had Mucks and many others. But as far as I’m concerned Rocky’s are the best. They last way longer and the fit, I wear a size 12 triple E which is kinda hard to find but Rocky has them and they fit perfectly.

Love these so much I may get a backup pair since I wear them a lot for work. I want to point out one issue which is not a deal breaker for me. First of all they're super comfortable, very easy to get on and off just using the zip, I don't touch the laces ever. Another reviewer mentioned that the boot was tight around his calf muscles, I have large calf muscles and I have plenty of room. My issue has been: The zipper can get caught in the fabric. However, the solution to this for me has been to splay two fingers and run them up the fold, holding the interior fabric back as I glide the zipper up. If you find your zipper getting stuck, consider trying this. Other than that minor issue, A+.

These are my third pair of snake boots and my second pair of Rockys. I found the quality and craftsmanship to be high. My other boots are a 9M and I ordered these in the same size and the fit is as expected. As my other pair of Rocky snake boots were water proof for the first year to year and a half before I had to start treating them I expect these will be the same. I get about 3 years out of a pair before the material in the flex area of the foot starts to wear out. I ordered the boots on Wednesday, they arrived on Friday. I live in western New York and snake boots are my go-to winter boot. I have worn this pair for ice fishing, snow shoeing and for work. I will also be wearing these for hunting and hiking year round. Because they can be laced up tight, when walking through deep snow it prevents snow from getting in my boots. With wool socks on my feet stay comfortably warm. I did have an issue with the boot bighting into right ankle but a little softening of the ankle area of the boot with a 2x4 and hammer seems to have eliminated the issue. (Shoe repairmans trick) I enjoy the fact they have both a zipper and speed lace hooks. It makes putting them on and taking them off very easy which I do 5 or 6 times a day when I wear them to work. You do have to be aware that there is a lot going on in the zipper gusset area so if caution is used when running the zipper up and down you shouldn't have a problem. I will definitely buy another pair.

It's really good, but be warned, it does get a little warm. Some issues that made by take away 1 star - Not 100% waterproof, even in 3 inches of water/mud - Zipping up sometimes gets caught on the fabric

These boots are not waterproof. Water rushed into the right boot as soon as I stepped into an ankle deep puddle. The left boot faired better, but I still ended up with a wet sock, but at least water didn't fully soak into the boot. However, if you're looking for a waterproof boot, save your money and look elsewhere.

These boots fit true to my size. There is a break-in period as they hurt my feet after a full day in them. Now i where a thicker sock and they feel awesome. My only issue is the zipper's don't operate smoothly and get stuck a lot. Have to fiddle around with them to zip up and down. I try not to get too aggressive with them as they don't seem to be the highest quality. They are lightweight and offer decent traction. I would purchase again. Edit: I have worn them all winter and love them. Zippers have held up well. I would purchase again for sure.

I took up hunting for the first time this year. I have probably walked about 30 miles in these boots. They are very comfortable. I purchased a size larger so that I could wear thick socks when it is colder out. They fit great. I would say that reading the reviews I was worried about the zipper breaking. I even got them stuck the first time I put them on. They seem to be metal zippers on my pair. My wife had to help me to get the zipper back on track but I noticed that if you pull the track together while you are zipping there is no problem with that. I have not stepped into much water in these boots so I cannot say how they far in water but it seems to me that you could probably submerge up to the toe box, but not over it, and still stay dry. After all these are snake bite boots not waders. I have not had a chance to try these with a snake bite but then again the whole point is to not be bit so I'm not going to actively search out a snake to try and bit me. The material is thick and I have confidence that it will protect me from a snake bite though.

Disappointed as zip didnot work. Returned.

These are fringing awesome!!! I order a size bigger to fit a waterproof inner just in case we have to walk through water at times. But for staying dry in the rain and ankle deep mud, not really test yet, so they could be fine.

Apparently they’re still going strong, into their third winter. Excellent quality and durability and still looking good. Would recommend and repurchase for sure.

Die Stiefel sind sehr ordentlich verarbeitet und fallen größengerecht aus. Einmal passend geschnürt, fällt der Ein- und Ausstieg durch den Reisverschluss sehr leicht. Auch der Übersee Versand ging super schnell. Kaufempfehlung.
