Down the Pan
Terrible design regarding fittings. Bought one 1 year ago and it took a skilled plumber two hours to fit it adding £50 to the cost. The hinge then broke 1 year later and the hinge on an exact replacement was already broken when it arrived. This was due to screw holes being out of alignment when drilled during manufacture, and as a result of the ensuing strain, the screws had ripped out from the lid. I have had to return it for a refund but this is somewhat of a relief as the language from those who attempted to repair and fit it was not good for my ears. There are over 30 parts to these fittings along with templates and glue. Yes glue! If you have a day or so to spare and an extraordinary amount of patience, then go ahead and order this product. Otherwise, save yourself some grief and get something else.

VERY Sturdy
Got through about three toilet seats that have fittings which eventually start to move and weaken.Let me tell you, this thing ain't moving..... ever!It's heavy, solid, sturdy and fixes like a tree in the ground!Worth the extra buck!

very good seat
Given a 4 star because it is a good toilet seatHad bought one at Homebase, then seen one in amazon cheaper and ordered another for the downstairs toilet great but..should have sent it back it was well padded and protected when arrived... but it still was slightly dented on the top which can be seen when the sun is shining on the toilet also think about the flush handle .. because the seat just touches the handle on the toilet downstairs when in upright mode- where as the upstairs toilet a different model was fine totally missing the handle ..

Solid as a rock
Superb quality. Perfect for what we needed. None of the sideways movement that you get with other seats and fits onto our older toilet bowl well. Fitting was a bit fiddly as per the other reviews, but no more than a few minutes and it was done. Only reason for 4 starts other than 5 if that the item is glued to fit and I am not sure if that will be an issue when it comes time to change next time.

Chipboard rubbish.
The bumph would have you believe this is built like a tank and could withstand a hurricane. However it failed after a few months of normal family use. The cause was short screws pulling through the poorly made chipboard composite seat. Now I will have to chisel off the glued on mechanism to replace. Avoid.

Finish is great, shiny and looks suitably water repellant. The instructions to use the no move glue solution are confusing to say the least and somewhat fiddly. Nice toilet seat but not quite so sure its the innovation suggested. Would buy again

It had better not ever move or slip
Incredibly hard to fit! It took a long time. It had better not ever move or slip, like the description says. The look and quality is good though and I was so relieved to find a 19" seat.

Terrible, don't waste your money
Terrible! Nightmare to fit and I will be amazed if the screw posts stay in place. Only screw in 1.5turns and kept falling out while I was trying to fit the seat, which was really fiddly. Not impressed with the product at all. Wish I hadn't bothered

Verbesserungswürdig, deshalb nur zwei Sterne.
Optisch und haptisch einwandfrei, aber dass nach einem halben Jahr die Schrauben in den Scharnieren rausfallen geht gar nicht. Warum? Viel zu klein für die Stärke und Schwere des Materials. Ansonsten wahrscheinlich unkaputtbar, aber hier muss nachgebessert werden.

Muy comodo
Es muy comodo en todos los sentidos, incluido el de la limpieza. Muy facil de limpiar la parte de atras, la unión del asiento con el WC, no tiene recovecos donde se acumule la suciedad como pasa con otros modelos.
