I’m using it with an Alfa tube into an Alfa network R36 WiFi router and it works fine. But you don’t need the software provided with it this way. I tried using it directly to the laptop & the provided disc with software was confusing as it does not make clear which is the best install to work with windows 10. I got fed up trying and put it through the router which gave clearer info and easy to set up software
