Training again, and all the wisdom says you need a decent amount of protein for muscle repair and growth. Protein powders a re a great way to top up dietary protein. Eggs, for example, contain top-quality protein, but nobody really wants to eat a dozen a day. This powder mixes very easily, rather better than a more expensive powder I tried last time. Flavour is fine. It's kind of strawberry-ish, and not too sweet. Easy to drink, and a good price. I'm about to order some more in a different flavour so I can alternate for variety.

Dissolves fine and the flavour is subtle compared to other Bulk products. I stir into half a glass of milk.

They've improved the flavour a lot and it blends nicely now. It's the cheapest option with good macros and flavour right now.

Good protein source for all including vegetarians like me. Delicious taste. I mix it with low calorie skimmed milk or flavoured water. Comparable in price with LIDL own brand protein powder.

I’ve been purchasing this powder for 2 years now but the most recent bag I bought just will not blend nicely into my milk. I’m ending up with clumps even after shaking multiple times, this was never ever an issue before so has something changed? It also seems so thick compared to usual. This has been my favourite powder for years because of how easily it melts into milk and tastes amazing but I’m definitely not experiencing this with this recent bag. Would appreciate some sort of explanation as if the formula has changed I’ll just move on to another brand I guess. Thanks!

Se disuelve muy bien y el de sabor a fresa está muy bueno, sin ser muy dulce.

Ich habe mir die 2,5-kg-Packung geholt, weil ich regelmäßig Proteinshakes trinke und es auf Dauer einfach praktischer ist, eine größere Menge zu Hause zu haben. Gerade wenn man fast täglich einen Shake macht, sind kleine Packungen ziemlich schnell leer. Geschmacklich finde ich die Erdbeervariante angenehm. Ich mische das Pulver meistens mit kaltem Wasser oder Milch und bekomme damit einen cremigen Shake, ohne dass der Geschmack für mich zu künstlich wirkt. Auch beim Shaken löst es sich ordentlich auf. Mit einem normalen Shaker bleiben bei mir nur selten kleine Klümpchen zurück. Die große Verpackung ist natürlich etwas sperriger, dafür hat man lange Ruhe und muss nicht ständig neues Protein bestellen. Die angegebenen Nährwerte passen für mich gut zu einem normalen Whey-Konzentrat und machen es unkompliziert, den täglichen Proteinbedarf über einen Shake zu ergänzen. Ich nutze das Pulver sowohl nach dem Training als auch an Tagen, an denen ich über die normale Ernährung nicht ganz auf meine gewünschte Proteinmenge komme. Einen besonderen Unterschied bei der Regeneration würde ich dabei allerdings nicht allein dem Produkt zuschreiben. Insgesamt ein solides Whey mit gutem Geschmack und einem für mich praktischen Großgebinde. Wer regelmäßig Proteinpulver verwendet, fährt mit 2,5 kg meiner Meinung nach deutlich entspannter als mit ständig neuen kleinen Packungen.
