La Hacienda 60535 Extra Large Deluxe Chimenea Rain Cover - Green

I was delighted when the Jumbo Delux cover arrived within the delivery time stated and found it was a perfect fit for my XXL Traditional Mexican Clay Chiminea. I was a little disappointed with the weight and flimsiness of the very thin rubberised material - and I don’t think it would survive more than a year in the outdoors here in UK. It’s OK to keep the rain off though. However, I was further disappointed when I attempted to tighten the securing drawstring - the fabric tore as if it were wet paper - and I wasn’t using any force to pull on the toggle, believe me! Upon further examination I noticed that the fabric even seemed to have “stress fracture” marks from where it had been folded inside its manufacturer’s packaging (see pics) so I suspect this may just be a poor quality example. I do hope this is just a “one-off” as otherwise, it’s a perfect size and fit. So, I've requested a return and replacement due to faulty goods and I’ll update this review upon response from seller.Update: the seller, Oxford Barbecues, responded immediately and have provided a full refund for the faulty cover. This is excellent customer service and I have no hesitation in recommending Oxford Barbecues as a reliable and honest Amazon marketplace seller. Top marks for customer service!

Product says extra large but is really short and leaves the bottom foot /foot and a half of my chiminea not covered

This arrived next day & is of good quality. It was a bit of a tight fit on my chimnea but it's the largest I could find. It feels like it will last well.

In terms of the quality the product matched expectations, but given this was to fit an XL 136cm Hacienda Chimenea, it fell short......... literally. Seems very well made but smaller than expected despite being described as extra large. I have an XL chimenea from the same company but this cover only goes 3/4 of the way down.

PLEASE NOTE: I have not tried this product yet and therefore cannot rate it, but it appears to be good quality........I have just had the La Hacienda Deluxe Extra Large cover delivered only to open it up to find it will not fit my Hacienda Extra Large Chimenia that I bought. You MUST double check the size of the cover because extra large Hacienda cover does not mean it will fit an extra large Hacienda chimenia. I have just had to now order the Jumbo Deluxe, which is the correct length that I need. Make sure you double check.

Having recently bought a small Chimenea (80 cm tall) I was looking for a cover. I have to say this cover is fabulous - and well worth the money.The cover itself fits perfectly. It may well be that as I have a La Hacienda chimenea, this is why the cover fits like a hand to a glove. The material is strong, woven and thick, and I am sure will provide all year round protection. There is a drawstring at the bottom, where for good measure, you can use to make sure the cover is snug. For the price, quality, and fit, cannot be beaten.Highly recommended.P.s I have had the cover for only several days so I cannot comment as the other reviewer has done in that the cover does not last - albeit I have to say it looks as if it will last me years.

Cover did not go over the top of the chimnea had to take the top chimney part off for it to fit.
