Old World ChristmasQuail Glass Blown Ornament for Christmas Tree

The Western Bluebird has a special meaning to my family. I was happy to find this ornament on Amazon, and happy with the vivid colors and overall quality. (Some of the Old World Christmas bird ornaments are small but this one is a decent size.) I also appreciate that Lucky Trading 13 included the original retail gift box, which I can use for storage when not as use. I was not so fortunate with a number of these OWC purchases on Amazon to receive factory-original packaging in every case. A tip for anyone looking to buy these ornaments on Amazon is to first inquire if the seller in question will supply the gift box. Not all of them do and rarely is it indicated in the description.

I have a cockatiel, and this is just the cutest little ornament for Christmas. I smiled every time I saw it. If you know someone with a cockatiel, or just want this for yourself, this is well made and beautiful with just a bit of bling on the wings. Don't hesitate to buy this!

We have Northern Flickers visit our garden and we love woodpeckers, so I was thrilled when I found this ornament for our tree this year. It's really beautifully painted with exquisite detail. The clip is very strong and securely attaches to the branches. It opens pretty wide for a variety of branch sizes. I was confident clipping it to our live tree. It stayed secure through the eight weeks we had our tree up. Absolutely adore this ornament!

I would love to have a holiday tree someday with all different animals represented b/c I love animals.This little Bluebird is lovely, but pricey. Perhaps I'll collect a few more before the next winter hols roll around next time.This little one was wrapped exceedingly well, inside the OWC box and we've named him Dobby, after the free elf in H.P.

On the expensive side, but it is beautiful. I bought two by mistake and was going to return one, but decided to give one as intended for gift and keep one for myself.

This was the first year we had a Northern Flicker enjoy our feeders so as an ornament this was perfect. It was well painted and sturdy

As previous posters have mentioned, this arrived with most of the tail fibers fallen out due to the way it was packed. It was wrapped very tightly all over with paper with no regard to the fragility of the tail which-all things being equal doesn't look too much like a swallow tail anyway. We kept it but felt maybe we could get a percentage off the item for this as it's a bit dissapointing but we don't want to go through the trouble if they want us to send the item back and send us a replacement etc.

This was the most awesome Christmas ornament for me in 2020. Our mother passed away in July 2020, bluebirds were her favorite. Her favorite song was of a bluebird and a phrase she frequently said was "a little birdie told me". I ordered 2 of these ornaments and gave one to my sister and one to my brother as a remembrance of her. My sister will be keeping her bluebird on display all the time in a cabinet that belonged to our mother. A new year and promising hopes that it is going to be better, I soon hope to deliver my gift to my brother.

It arrived in perfect condition, my bird loving mom loved it as a christmas gift.

My friend, who has cockatiels is absolutely delighted with it!
