Great all round documentary of a vastly underrated ring craftsman with a never say due attitude

I remember family and friends heading around to watch Calzaghe and Lacy fight it out on the rear projection TV… and the press consensus from the states was that Lacy was going to triumph with a knockout over Joe’s weakened hands.I knew Joe would win… never a single doubt. What I didn’t know was that Calzaghe would treat audiences to one of the finest master classes in breaking down an opponent. That boxing match reignited my love of pugilism and this documentary brought some of that euphoric nostalgia of seeing a discounted legend keep on silencing his naysayers.There are only a few real greats in boxing history and this man and his doting father-trainer remain as two of them.

Wow, just watched Mr Calzaghe on prime, glued to the screen.Boxing from the age of 9, Joe is brilliant, great father and son teamwork.Got out while on top and young enough to enjoy the rest of his life with his family in Wales. Highly recommend to all lovers of boxing.

I'm 60 years old and loved boxing all my life, this Documentary is the best boxing related film I've ever seen, Mr calzaghe captures everything boxing means to me,pure skill, determination, the belief,what an outstanding boxer and Athlete Joe was above all a honest genuine man. I wish him and his fantastic family all the best MR CALZAGHE.

Loved this. Grew up loving boxing and Joe Calzaghe. A gentleman. A true champion. 100 percent commitment to go the distance and give it everything he had. An inspiration who deservedly came out on top.
