WOSODA Trail Camera Comparison Full Featured WiFi 30mp Cam vs Basic Mini 16MP Cam.
I have several Trail Cams from several makers and was finally looking forward to comparing these two WOSODA bottom and top line cams together for those who like to stay within a certain brand camera.G100 Mini Trail Cam > https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BGHP4VQGG300 Pro WiFi Trail Cam > https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BMFJ1X92?th=1To compare these two from the same manufacturer on opposite sides of the feature spectrum is like comparing a Go Cart to a Luxury Car. Keep in mind that the Mini Trail Cam G100 does perform very well within its specs and features however limited they are just as does the Full Featured G300 Pro WiFi 30mp Cam. It comes down to what you want and what you need. But since there has been a terrific price drop on the top of the line full featured WiFi 30mp cam since original pricing when received at $89.99 to now $39.99 at time of this review to the basic mini cams price of $45.99 it would seem silly to get the least featured trail cam now costing more than the top line full feature WiFi cam.The size difference is about half the size on the mini cam using 4 x AA batteries, while the bigger WiFi cam takes 8 x AA batteries and both using 32 gb SD cards. The mini utilizes 1 front PIR while the WiFi cam has the 1 front PIR plus 2 opposing left/right PIRs for wider 120° view activation capture range. Also the WiFi cam has a microphone to capture sound making your videos much nicer and natural. The distance difference is 65ft Mini and 80ft WiFi cams. The mini cam has a very very small 1.30 x .45 black on silver background liquid crystal menu display while the WiFi cam has a large 1.30 x 1.60 full color display like your smart phone has. The menu difference does not stop there. The mini cam limited 5 character LCD is limited in character display as it is in meaning of what is displayed to program by intuitive understanding or referral back to manual as to what is being shown to select from. While the full featured display of the WiFi Cam can display full words and characters for meanings and selections. And of course lastly on major differences is user connectivity to image data on both cameras. The mini cam requires the user to open up the unit and remove the SD card for reading in another system be it a PC or Smart Phone with adaptor while the WiFi Cam lets you access the SD card while still inside the web cam through its phone app by both Blue tooth to securely activate the WiFi transmitter within the trail cam (password protected) then connection of phones WiFi source select then being the trail cams signal. From there you can access still photos or videos to view or delete or download. You can also click to snapshot or take video and play with settings. The app for the WiFi cam was a bit difficult for me at first to sync up through all steps and still sometimes took several attempts but that may be due to my phone itself just about maxed out on memory space and fully loaded with other apps too all competing for resources. But once running it was a pleasure to work with compared to the alternative of the mini cam as you can see the photos or videos right on the screen of your smartphone.Picture wise, of course the higher pixel / size / definition of the Wifi cam will offer better results in the higher settings and for the comparatively same settings the higher end WiFi cam seems to have a better lens system and clarity. Both cameras come with straps and mounting hardware and of course night vision. And mostly both cams are backed by a manufacturer in the sportsman field of products. You decide from here.

WOSODA 16MP 1080P Trail Camera, (UPDATED)
UPDATE: Seller finally contacted me in June. They were very apologetic for the faulty camera and customer service difficulties. They shipped me a new camera; the upgraded model Pro model. This compensated for the Amazon 20% return fee I paid. So now I am changing the rating from one to four stars. Hopefully, the story ends here on a happy note.Camera operated for about 60 days, then died. (outside free return period) Sellers's response were instructions to reset the camera, though they were told the camera would not power on. Reboot is not possible if the camera will not turn on. I replied to the Seller after following their instructions to reset the camera, informing them it was still inoperable. I waited for about week without receiving a response from them. I then contacted Amazon. Amazon authorized a return, but with a 20% restocking fee. Because of the product failure and Seller's customer service failure, I cannot recommend purchase of this product.

Worked once (see update)
**Update: We cannot get this camera to work again after the one time it did work. Using the same SD card. It appears moisture is somehow getting into the unit because the batteries keep dying and every time I go in to replace them, there is moisture in the battery compartment and on the inside of the plastic window in front of the camera. I'm very disappointed in this product at this point and will probably just look to replace it with a different brand.** It took us awhile and 3 different SD cards to figure out this camera. Finally got an SD card "specifically" for trail cams and it finally worked. I think the picture quality is very good. My son was excited to see the deer that are leaving the tracks behind the house.

Great fun! I found out who was eating my tomatoes!
The quality of the image is pretty decent. The night vision works well too. It comes with a strap and some hardware to attach the camera either to a tripod or a tree. Camera feels very sturdy. It takes 4 AA batteries. The battery life of course depends on what kind of batteries you use and the amount of action. You will need a memory card (SD) or a smaller one with an adaptor. There are different recording modes (photos, and videos options- depending on how much memory you have). I got this camera to see who was stealing from my vegetable garden - (chipmunks!). In my household nobody is into hunting, as we love animals, and we are having fun watching the wild life. I strapped this camera in a tree to see the deer who gather behind my barn and we saw a fox and raccoons, as well! BTW, you cannot see the images in the camera itself. You need to insert the SD card in a computer in order to access the photos and videos.

Great day time pictures and clear black and white pictures when it's dark out.
Easy to use and set up. It does not come with batteries or the memory card so once I had those; I was all set to go. I have been using it to watch the yard overnight. So far seen a few raccoons and also got lots of shots of my husband cutting the grass. Great price, easy to use and great pictures. Can't find anything negative to say about it.

Night vision issues
The night vision doesn’t seem to work. It won’t pick up any videos or pictures when it’s dark. I’ve tried taking the batteries out and putting them in again as others have suggested, but not having any luck.

Doesn’t work
After the settings are entered, the camera makes it 10 second count for you to move away and then nothing happens, doesn’t even work, never did... really disapointed, would like my money back
