Leather Tape Measure Holder (Dark Brown w/Snaps)

So its sleek, it's innovative and will save ur pants from ripping off....I got it to replace an old design fromother brand and country of production that got discontinued. First I thou this would be nicer since the other unit it was alil tacky, but I was wrong.I figured that whenever I get bend over to get up or down from a place, hole, trench, equipment, truck.... the tape will pop out due to my outter thigh pushing it up as I do the climbing down and up movement.Sometimes bending to pick up something will do it too but... that I think has to do with where I position the clip on my belt....

This tape holder would be perfect.. if it wasn't for the type of tape measure I use. I use a Kobalt 25' magnetic, and the way the tape measure holder/clip is built (see pics, that show plastic holder on tape measure).. the tape measure will not stay in this holder. It eventually works its way up the holder.. and eventually will fall out. This wasn't a problem with other tape measures I've tried. But, unfortunately.. I'm stuck using a Kobalt tape measure for work, and can't use this holder. This holder is very high quality.. and looks like it would last a long time.

Well made, stylish, nice color.. I bought one for me and one for my father. We both love it.

I wanted a convenient way to carry my tape measure and this does the trick. I like using the snaps to secure it over the belt and it holds the tape measure well enough as long as it is worn slightly behind the hip. If worn further forward than that, once you bend over or kneel, the tape will be pushed up off of the clip and will fall. The snaps are good, the leather is good and the craftsmanship is good. Money well-spent.

The tape holster is exactly what I needed to keep from tearing up the pockets on my jeans. It is a heavy leather and the steel is riveted to the leather. The snaps are tight and I have no problems keeping my tape right where I need it. (Thanks for the coozie!!! It’s a nice way to stay cool and hydrated while I work in the garage.)I would recommend this holster for anyone that doesn’t want to wear a whole tool belt to carry their tape measure.

This is it. Took me a while to find a nice tape measure holder. I wanted something that didn’t feel like it was on when I didn’t have my tape measure on. Tape measure slides on and off pretty easily with one hand. The other ones I had I had to pull extra hard
