Can these pods be used in the Verisimo (K-Fee) Starbucks machine?

I don't know. They are little pods, no plastic on them at all.

How does this decaf compare in flavor with Illy and Nespresso? Thanks.

In a milk based drink the Borbone are good tasting. As a straight espresso shot they are bitter. I tried using different ratios with the Borbone pods and found them not nearly as good as a straight shot of espresso from the Illy branded ESE pods. For reference I’m using the La Piccola, Piccola ESE machine.

How far out of an expiration date can we expect?

I have been ordering the pods for years both DEK and regular. We consume one 150 box in 4-6 weeks. In that time DEK has varied from one month to three expiration. Whereas regular had more time. We store the coffee in a cool dark pantry and have no complaints about the flavor.
