SalomonWomen's Xa Pro 3D Trail Running Shoes

Bought these for a travelling trip back in February which consisted of hikes, trail runs, and general day to day wear. I was especially concerned about the trip/footwear because I had just injured my big toe ("Turf toe"), and it had affected my walking. Despite this, they were really comfortable to wear on all terrain and no discomfort after several hours wear, no matter the weather or terrain. They offered good grip on mud, rocks and hilly walks and runs. I ended up getting special insoles for Turf toe injuries which made the shoes even more comfortable to wear.I got the non goretex ones because I was going to be in South America, and wanted breathable shoes. When they got wet, they dried fairly quickly. So this was a good trade off.Thing to note though... They fit small. I am typically an UK size 7, but after a bit of online faff and eventually having to go to to a shop to get my feet properly measured and try on the mens and womens version in half size increments... I settled on a womens UK size 8.Would definitely recommend, 6 months later, I wear them everyday and they're even more comfortable.

My wife loves these shoes she wears them when we do long walks. Finding a pair of shoes that don't give her blisters is hard.This is her second pair of Salomon's and she has been blister free. She buys a half size up for comfort and there is no need to walk them in.Great shoes thinking of getting a pair for myself.👍

supportive on initial wearing, haven't worn them overlong.

A very nice trainer to wear & very comfortable, Solomon trainers hug & mold your feet so as to protect your feet from knocks & bangs.The laces are the just pull to tighten & release quickly when taking them off,the colour is nice & dark so can be worn with any other colours.Solomon trainers are a little more expensive than other trainers but with the quality and fit plus length of time they last they are competitively priced.

They are the best trainers I’ve ever had! They are light and are perfect for hiking, long walks and gym. I’m usually size 5,5 or 6 but ordered 6,5 and they fit great. Would highly recommend!

Compared to my previous Salomon shoes, same type, the new shoes are slightly narrower so my mid foot has less space. The shoe feels tighter in the midfoot.The front of the shoe is comfortable so my toes have enough space.Otherwise the shoe is good.
