Texecom Ricochet Premier Elite 48 Kit Wireless (Kit-0005)

After years of fitting honeywell to friends and family and properties, i needed something bigger and felt with the new wave of alarm systems that are wireless plug and play / internet connected, it was time to move on. Id used gsm diallers, but so much more is possible now. I went for this kit, plus expanders, more keypads, wired sensors etc.. to fit a larger property and give more options, particularly connectivity. Honeywell are simple. This requires a bit more learning. However it is fantastically specified, has all the details right (blocks for cable termjnation well sized and angled for instance), which you come to appreciate as you work with it. Interchangeable back plates etc.. fantastic to swop sensors around if you decide wrong sensor installed.Its capable of being programmed via pads, or wintex, with huge configurability. I never had a problem with honeywell, but i can see myself fitting more of these in the future. If you are thinking of doing as diy, you need to have a high capacity to learn - the wiring is easy enough - but set up needs a good understanding of alarm settings. Texecom manuals explain in the briefest terms, and are not tutorials. A solid choice..
