Good fit. I am normally a size 8, bought size 8. Tried several pairs before this pair, but something wrong with all of them, e.g. wouldn’t stay on my feet, too loose, too tight, too warm, wrong colour. This pair stays on my feet - even though the heel area is unusually wide - and is nicely cool for spring/ summer/ autumn ...although I guess some might say “too light”. Sole is thin, but you can buy a supermarket insole for a couple of pounds. Upper is leather. And the slippers are made in England. That’s right - Made in England - when did you last see that. Not China. What is made in the UK nowadays? Easily four stars out of five...in fact what the heck, give producers of UK goods credit, five stars it is.

I'm a size 8, so that's what I ordered, but they are a tad too large and because the rim of the sides and heel is smooth leather and not a slightly more 'grippy' suede that I'd been used to with Moccasins, they flapped off my feet dangerously. Since I had considered this a possibility, and chose this style deliberately, I tried to use the 'lace around the rim' feature to just pull that circumference in a bit. It worked, it solved the flapping off the heel problem on stairs, etc., but now the bit across the front was tighter, it rubs my foot and makes it sore. I doubt this would be a problem for many people, I just have an unfortunate combination of foot size and shape that doesn't work for these moccasins. Usually I buy slippers from a shop, so I can try on before buying, but couldn't find any the right style in my size in local towns. Hence trying online, I had also ordered a pair of suede ones (from another supplier) and fortunately they're OK. There's nothing wrong with these, they just didn't suit me and, as the other came first, I left it a bit too long before trying these ones on, to now return these.

Happy with design, comfort and quality - but the sole is thin and does not provide sufficient cushion on hard floors. Put in additional soles to help. Does the job, promptly delivered! Found after 2 and half months the stitching burst on one shoe - a pair I bought for my husband. The vendor says they will not replace them and their suppliers would not agree! Lol!! Never mind the once happy customer ....well you should tell the vendor ....when....??? Be prepared for a 2.5 month life for your shoes - they seem happy with that. Will not buy from them again,

You don’t wear the packaging I know but they did come well protected, the moccasins themselves seem well made and soon stretch to comfortably fit your feet.They are pretty good value for the price though ideally both the sole and the leather uppers would benefit from being a little thicker.Be interesting to see how well the leather stitching and the sole stitching stand up to everyday wear and tear but so far I would say worth buying.

Probably the worst pair of slippers I have ever purchased. With wearing the leather stretches making the slippers fall off. The leather is extremely supple but not enough of it has been used to make slippers of a decent size. The slipper body itself from sole to lacer channel is extremely short. That also does not help keep the slipper from falling off. There is no padding inside the sole which makes for little comfort and like walking on a plank of wood.

These are my favourite slippers for all round use. They are perfect for most of the year, although they are not warm in winter and you will need some thicker socks. They are great to wear all around the house and even outdoors if you need to. They are well made and very durable and last for quite a while before the sole eventually wears out or comes unstuck. The laces can be loosened or tightened to adjust the fit a relatively small amount. Mokkers are still made in England and they are good value. I have in the past mistakenly bought similar copies which were made elsewhere and they were rubbish in comparison in terms of fit, comfort, durability and overall quality. When they finally wear out, usually after a couple of years or more, I always look for the same again.

I dislike the fact that these moccasins are medium fit. I have as old pair which are wide fit. I am hoping that with wear these new ones will stretch a bit maybe they will maybe they won’t. If they don’t stretch I will have wasted my money. I will continue my search for wide fit moccasins. I am a bit disappointed.

I already have a pair of these in tan which I found very comfortable and reminded me of the moccasins I used to put together from a kit, many years ago. They did stretch a little after a couple of months and so I bought these in black but a size smaller. I believe these will stretch to be a perfect fit and last for several years.
