Just how plant weight should be ,cut to required length.

For a long time, I struggled trying to insert plants underwater in my aquaria; they kept trying to float away no matter how firmly I tried to embed them in the base soil. These weights, however, provided an instant solution: wrap one together with a strip of protective foam around the base (just above the roots), insert away and finish off with a covering layer of soil or gravel; lo and behold: plants that stay put and grow where you want them to be!

Used it to weigh down the plants in the pond, but wasn't really heavier enough and the plant tipped over.

I bought the plant weights for making a recently bought lightweight USB fan much more stable. Now it has a heavier base thanks to these plant weights, it's less likely to fall over.The coil came in an easy access pack, and is very good value.

When you buy new plants for your aquarium they are sold in little pots to weigh them down. But as the plants grow, I like to take cuttings and grow them on in other areas in the tank. This product is ideal for planting the cuttings and to date they have all grown on successfully.I looked in all my pet suppliers but none stocked this product.So I order this pack from Amazon and it works well, in fact, I now take cuttings from my original cuttings.An aquarium is an expensive hobby so I would recommend this product as it saves you money and stops you buying new plants all the time.
